Very nice clean and cozy. Loved it

We had a wonderful stay and would stay in this property again. Diego responded quickly to our communications. The detailed description of how to find keys, where to park was very helpful and parking was always available on the block. The public staircases in the neighborhood were a fun way to explore, find beautiful views, the Hightower. We loved using the outdoor space, which felt like an extension of the interior, for relaxing in the sun, coffee, afternoon wine/snacks. The property was clean, very open common/living room area, and had good lighting.

Perfect house for the two of us, secluded in the hills but close to everything. Very clean, safe neighborhood. Beautiful outdoor space with fantastic views. Easy parking.

Great villa. Great location. Very unique and quaint. Outdoor patio is beautiful! Clean, private and quiet. Keep in mind that there is only one bed. The pullout is not really sleepable. Will return if we’re in LA again!

This beautiful property did not disappoint! The authentic Spanish style architecture renovated to perfection was an idyllic way to experience unique hillside living. The location could not be better as it is walkable to Hollywood Blvd and close to freeways making it convenient to get anywhere. The outdoor space is the best part with morning sun and plenty of space to gather and marvel at California's essence. There are only a few things to consider. The 2nd bedroom is very small with a pullout couch better suited for 1 person vs a couple. This is a duplex so be aware that guests could be above you.

great location, quiet, comfortable bed, nicely decorated, open and airy, stocked well, clean. I will be back. This is coming from a designer who furnishes vacation rentals so you know it's good.

We had a pleasant stay! Two ladies could have used more than one wash cloth each for 5 days! Plenty of towels and great shower! Difficulty finding the UNLOCK button on the outside gate! The second bedroom has a pull out couch which slants downhill and reaches the door making it difficult to get out of the door! Very uncomfortable for a 5 night stay! Enjoyed the beautiful patio area!

Had a great time at Diego’s home. We walked to concert at Hollywood Bowl easily. Beautiful old California architecture and style. Very comfortable home. Only issue was parking at certain times but solved by parking on adjacent block.

The beds are terrible and controlling the temperature was a bit difficult. Kitchen needs a few items such as a cookie sheet or foil.

This property is nestled in the Hollywood Hills and is a gem! Beautiful setting, very nice accommodations, and a super responsive host. I would definitely recommend it and hope to go back in the future.

We didn’t have a nice stay unfortunately. I would not stay here again. The pictures on the listing are either extremely outdated or heavily filtered because it didn’t have the same look/feel in person. The second bedroom isn’t really a bedroom. It’s a pull out couch in a tiny section of the other bedroom that’s separated by a door that you can hear everything through (you also can’t close the “bedroom” doors when the couch is pulled out). The pull out couch was so broken and uncomfortable (think metal poking you) that I had to put in a complaint. Diego was audibly annoyed that I would even complain about this. He reluctantly sent cleaners with a blow up mattress the next day and then acted like I should be thankful that he went out of his way. I didn’t go on vacation to sleep on a blow up mattress. He was condescending throughout our entire exchange and it made me feel uncomfortable. The worst part of our stay was how filthy the place was. I was grossed out to eat off the plates and sit on the couch. If we walked around without shoes the bottoms of our feet were black. The sheets were damp and rough. The glasses had gunk on them. Everything is old and dilapidated. The patio/steps outside must have not been cleaned in ages. There are more things to note but I’ll stop here. I can see from previous negative reviews that Diego’s tactic is to discredit the reviewer and deny any wrongdoing so I’m sure he’ll do the same here.

This villa was extremely cute & a vibe we were excited to try out. At first it appeared clean, however, it needs a good deep clean. I spent the first 10 minutes there cleaning all the light switches as they were extremely filthy. There was also a lot of dust every where including inside the cabinets. To which we made sure to wash everything we needed to use prior to eating from it. The main couch was also very dirty. We ended up buying a king size blanket from target to place over it to feel comfortable sitting on it. Other than a nice vibe it was unfortunately a little boring & wish there was more entertainment. We still appreciated the stay & hope you can take having the villa deep cleaned into consideration for your future guests. Thank you!
