Stunning Boutique Vineyard Stay with Pool

We had an excellent and relaxing stay in the very well appointed vineyard home. The drive in and out took some getting used to with the narrow lanes amongst the vines, but you couldn’t ask for a more idyllic and quiet place to relax. The wine they produce there is great too!

Gorgeous setting! Beautiful home and wonderful hosts. The wine tour by Paul was amazing. Philippa and Paul were very communicative and accommodating ! Only one comment- this is very beautiful and very remote. Closest supermarket 40 min away and the long and winding single lane roads to the home may be very intimidating to some. Should not drive these roads after dark. But for us it was worth it.

We loved the villa and the surrounding vineyard setting! It was a difficult drive up without signage around the villa and would recommend arriving during daylight. But the drive was worth it!!

The house is very well decorated and kitchen is well equipped with all the spices and utensils for cooking. The view of the surrounding wineries is extraordinary. We love our stay and can’t wait to come back for another trip. Thanks Phillipa and Susanna for a warm welcome and hospitality.

This property was so fantastic, I stayed there with 7 other adults and there would have easily been room for 2+ more. The house was clean, great facilities, comfortable beds, towels, everything we could have asked for. We were able to explore the Douro valley and also spend time by the pools and walking around the properties vineyards. We went in September which was a wonderful time as different Quinta’s we’re starting to harvest. The house has a lovely vineyard and you can see hills and hills of vineyards as far as the eye can see. We would happily come back again!

We had the most amazing time, the house is perfect , every room en-suite, lost of social areas both indoors and out so plenty of space for a big group but also very intimate for fewer people as the decor is so nice. The views are amazing, you are in the real heart of the Douro, the road there is narrow and windy but we managed no problem at all in our suv. The winery is a top end boutique producer and the wines are fabulous. Woul d also recommend the cook service as it was excellent. Can’t speak more highly , philippa was so helpful and accommodating and it was nothing less than a perfect stay. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for a longer visit.

Property was truly wonderful, and the views were spectacular. Host was truly wonderful and delightful in every way. Property is unique and would recommend it to anyone. Also, the wine from the property was very good, truly high quality. Can't say enough about The hosts and the property.

Philippa was over the top helpful and responsive. She assisted with directions, restaurant and activity recommendations and COVID testing. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and very easy to live in. The property is lovely. The pool, gardens and seating areas are beautiful and inviting. The views are breathtaking. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful vacation spot among the vineyards in the picturesque Douro valley to enjoy with family or friends. Thanks Philippa!

The house was very comfortable for our group of 7. The views were amazing and the outdoors was beautiful. We enjoyed the dinner and wine tour. The drive in was interesting - get your groceries ahead of time! We loved it!
