Stunning Architect Eco Villa with Swimming Pool, Petanque Court & Amazing Views

Great location adjacent to forest with lovely walking trails. Spacious house. The description provided by the host was very accurate. Highly personal and helpful interactions with the owners Nathalie and Nigel. Amazing large pool. We had a lovely stay!

We, a family of five, stayed for a week at this lovely villa. We found this tucked away up a private road, but very close to all amenities and 15min by car to the Cannes Croisette. Most impressed by the large pool and an amazing view, we had a great time exploring nearby villages, beaches and enjoying the lovely French food. Thanks to Nathalie and Nigelwe have been well informed about the area and the premises. Thank you very much

The house was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was the best equipped that we’ve experienced. The garden was beautiful with plenty of space for our two wee grandsons, and the pool was perfect. A quiet location but close to many amenities with plenty to do and see nearby.

My family and myself had a fabulous holiday while staying at beautifull Villa Canelle. Its location is perfect for visiting the quaint surrounding villages e.g Mougin, Valbonne and St Paul de Vence and is only a 15min drive to the coast. Having said that, we enjoyed the villa and all its amenities so much, we had to force ourselves to leave the villa to get in the car to explore! The gardens are large and beautifully landscaped with lots to do to keep you entertained! We all had fun playing petanque on the private petanque court, having table tennis tournaments and playing table football! The pool is fabulous! It is huge and in the hot weather, was irresistible! Inside, the villa is very spacious, modern in design and is immaculate. It has every modern amenity you could ask for. The owners, Nathalie and Nigel are perfect hosts, so helpful and kind and always available if you have any questions. Thank you both! I have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending beautiful Villa Canelle and we hope to return again some day soon.

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Villa Canelle - it's a beautiful property in a convenient location, within a short drive of many shops and local amenities. The villa itself is exactly as pictured in the many photos - gardens are beautifully landscaped and maintained, and the layout of the living space, plus all the bedrooms, worked really well for our family (my parents, brother and sister-in-law plus their baby, and myself, husband and two kids!). The attention to detail and thought that has gone into the property was much appreciated - even down to every room having it's own colour coded pool towels so nobody got confused! The owner/property manager Nathalie could not have been more helpful - all communication was extremely professional prior to our stay, with a wealth of information, and we had a few requests which seemed no trouble at all. Nathalie even went out of her way to help us when our daughter needed some medical assistance which was hugely appreciated. The area is also great for families - just a few minutes down the road there is a trampoline park, bouldering park and indoor soccer arena etc. so when the kids got too hot playing in the garden/pool, we had lots of options! We highly recommend this beautiful property, and hope to return again soon.

Wonderful villa nestled in the hills near Mougins. Very well equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Children and adults alike enjoyed the pool and dining and in the fantastic outdoor eating area. In a very peaceful location but yet within 5 mins drive there are numerous excellent supermarkets. Plus there are villages nearby for restaurants to drive to. There is so much to do in the area to suit all tastes from visiting beautiful villages (Mougins, Valbonne) or exploring the coastline (Antibes was a favourite beach and shopping place). For those that want to travel slighly further, Nice, Monaco are easy to reach either via car or train from Cannes. Some of our group enjoyed a night at the Allianz stadium watching Nice play football. Easy to get to and free parking. A great experience for the teenage boys.

We enjoyed this house and the location. It is calm, the view is great (sunset garanteed), the design of the house, the confort and the taste of everything inside and outside. The garden and the swimming pool are great. The neighbors are far away and it is not a problem to have late dinner on the terrasse with friends and children. Mougins is a beautiful village and there is so much to see around The maintenance of the property, the quality of the kitchen appliances, the bed confort, the service provided and the environment were at the top We will probably come back next year.

A very beautiful villa in a lovely location. Everything was as described-very private- wonderful extras we enjoyed were the grand piano (which they had tuned for us), the baby foot (table football), table tennis, and the Japanese tub. Beautiful garden, pool and view. Very important-the owners were always available and so kind and helpful along with their housekeeper -also very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Having had 10 days in Villa Canelle, we'd like another 10. Nigel and Nathalie have put together a wonderful house combining the practicalities and hi-tech of modern living with some unique designer touches (red granite kitchen tops, Japanese bath - awesome) and amazing open indoor and outdoor space. We love Antibes and especially its market (though other visitors seem to claim Cannes wins there) and had a wonderful day climbing down the rocks to an almost private cove just past Theoule-sur-Mer. Lots of arty stuff - from famous (Matisse, Picasso etc) to some really quite good local art as close as Mougins. Check out the local restaurants at Mouans-Sartoux - walkable and lower priced than the tourist destinations. Liberal use of google maps means you can run to the hills - via the canal - in about 10 mins. Then you can find some challenging ascent if that's your thing. We ate outside almost every evening (in September) - the open doors/windows make it super-easy. Best road trip was to Vence (Matisse Chapelle du Rosaire) via Tourettes-sur-Loup during which we also came across lovely Valbonne. A gem of a town and market. Overall - highly recommended and thank you to Nigel and Nathalie - you have a beautiful home in a wonderful place.
