Spectacular Luxury Vacation Home - Breathtaking Views - Best Climate

This is a beautiful home with so many extras. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and large space. Chef Moma prepared a lovely meal after a long day of zip lining. Sandra and Klaas prearranged several activities per our request.There was a little confusion over checkout but we were able to work everything out smoothly. I highly recommend this home.

Great stay!

Loved the place. Very spacious and well equipped for the needs or our family with 2 little kids. The grounds were expansive with orange and lemon trees. My initial concern was that there won't be much to do around Atenas. However, was proven wrong. Sandra took great care of us and suggested as well arranged fun daily activities for us. Tortilla tour experience was the best followed by the Alex's chocolate tour. Would highly recommend this villa if you are in the area.

La Perla is a beautiful property, inside and out. And Sandra is the bonus you didn’t even know you needed. She was one of my very favorite things about the entire vacation. Her recommendations and assistance were invaluable. Chef Gullimere was top notch and both suggested excursions were outstanding. I recommend this property without a single reservation!

The house is beautiful and the landscaping around the house is stunning. A little disappointed that we didn't get to pick any fresh fruit. There is plenty of room to hang outside by the pool, enjoy your coffee in the morning while the birds are chirping or chill with a glass of wine in the jacuzzi. I would love to go back again. I highly recommend this place.

We loved every part of the villa (especially the lushes greens around the property). It’s a big house and had all the amenities that we needed to make our family comfortable during our trip. The location is also central to all the tourist spots near Atenas.

This was one of the best (or even the very best) home we have ever rented. It had everything and the views and outdoor lounge space were breathtakingly beautiful. Sandra and Klass organized all our transfers and tours and made the trip completely stress free. We researched many homes in Atenas and we are so happy we picked this one. Stay here. You won’t regret it.

We had a great visit. Unfortunately a couple of the kids wound up sick shortly after arrival so we did not explore as much as expected. I will say there was a detailed review by someone that almost made me cancel our reservation that mentioned the heat and lack of AC. The highs were up into the low 90s while we were there, but the house only warms up for a couple of hours before sunset. It was so cool in the morning that having a robe, or long sleeves was a must. We also drove to Arenal and Manuel Antonio National park and stayed overnight at each place. We obviously spent more on stays this way, but we found that it was nice to have a home base 2.5 hrs from each place. The family slept better at the house and preferred it over los Lagos and Shana by the beach, even though those were beautiful places as well. This is a great spot to unwind with a lot of great amenities at home. There is a beautiful mango tree on the property. Definitely explore outside and wake up for the sunrise every day. Keep your screens shut and the home one to keep it cool. My son accidentally had an iguana follow him into the front room when he was carrying things in. We didn’t see him again once we were able to help him find his way out. If this is your first visit to Costa Rica, definitely go visit the surrounding areas to experience seeing the monkeys, birds and sloths in their natural habitats. The driving there isn’t bad at all and the winding roads were beautiful mini road trips.

A week of relaxing in the fantastic town of Atenas. The homes in Roca Verde Residence are second to none. This villa ticked all the marks and was a fabulous home to enjoy for our vacation.

This is our 2nd time staying in properties managed by Sandra and Klaus...You will not find better people that are willing to help you have absolutely the best experience of the Costa Rican people, culture, and its beautiful country.Wanda and I will return...Thank you both!

From check in to check out, our stay was amazing. The house was, as advertised a 10 out of 10. With clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, with amazing and well kept outdoor space we were very comfortable. Klaas and Sandra were able to set up a rainforest tour with Vic and a Zipline tour, both on short notice. We would highly recommend both.

This is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. La Perla is a luxury property set in the hills outside Atenas, known for its perfect year round climate, with stunning views of the town and countryside. Very private estate, complete with your own pool, cooling tub and Jacuzzi outside, plus Jacuzzi and sauna in the master bedroom. Your hosts will see to everything you need, including arrangements for local tours to waterfalls, volcano, ziplining, and wildlife viewing.

Beautiful home and property. The pool area is fantastic, and the neighborhood is very safe and guarded, being in a high-end home subdivision. The center of Atenas is only a two-minute drive. The town is small but has nice restaurants and a decent supermarket.

Our stay at La Pearla was a week of beauty and relaxation. The rooms were clean. The beds were confortable but our favorite part was the outside living area. We spent 90% of our time outside enjoying the pools and hot tub. Sandra and Klaas were super responsive. Setting up a tour and giving great recommendations for places to eat and shop. We would highly recommend La Pearla. It was beautiful!for food and shopping. relaxation!

Everything was perfect. Super communication. As advertised.

Grounds were beautiful and pools were refreshing especially the cold plunge. The grill area is separated from the other outdoor areas but we still enjoyed it. The night time view of the valley cannot be beat. Sitting in the pool at night watching the lightning in the distance was very relaxing. We would definitely stay again however we plan on seeing other parts of the wonderful country.
