Spacious Villa With Private Pool & Sea Views Salema

The house was very nice, I would say even nicer than the pictures! Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The views were really great! The only point to improve I would say is the directions to arrive to the apartment. Was a bit confusing! But we arrived :)

The villa was ideal for our family reunion. It has a variety of spaces to relax & eat in the sun or sheltered. We appreciated the location next to the natural park. Helen was generous in sharing her local knowledge.

We had a fantastic holiday in the Algarve using Helen's villa as our base. The villa is very nicely decorated and furnished and contained everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack that was present when we arrived was appreciated and meant we didn't need to rush straight to the shops. The views from the two bedrooms at the front are beautiful, and my wife and I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. The beach is a 5-10 min walk down through the steps between the villas. The walk back up is good exercise, but may be tougher for the less able. There is a small supermarket in Salema which you could use if you didn't want to hire a car. But I would recommend renting one to allow you to get to the larger towns and supermarkets. In summary we had a wonderful holiday at Helen's villa; I would very much recommend booking it, and would definitely go back again myself.

The house is extremely cosy, well decorated, simple and with taste and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a blender, orange juice machine and a mixer, which is not very usual in a vacation place but an added value. The swimming pool is very inviting, and my family and friends spent a very good time there. For guests with kids and teenagers the propriety offers some entertainment such as ping pong table, a volley ball, and toys to play at the beach. Unfortunately, the windy nights did not allow to use the outdoor table but should be very pleasant to enjoy a meal or a drink there. The internet is stable and has a good speed. The location at the house is on a hill and that might be an issue if you have people with less mobility joining your stay. However, it is not difficult to find a parking place closer to the beach where restaurants are also located. If you wake up easily with the day light, then be ready to start the day very early as the light goes through the window with the sunrise. Overall, we all had a wonderful stay, and we recommend renting this place

We highly recommend this villa; a great seaside town and this wonderful villa has everything you could want to make the most of a relaxing stay. The views are beautiful, the kitchen is well-equipped, the pool is clean and well-sized and the bedrooms are excellent!

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this idyllic spot on the Western Algarve. We were a group of 7, parents with young adult children and partners, and the villa was perfect for our requirements. Everything we needed was provided and it was tastefully furnished in cool, clean colours. The pool was essential as we were there in a particularly hot spell and we also enjoyed a daily dip in the sea. The walk down to the beach is straightforward - the return was slightly challenging in the heat but it did us the world of good! We could have driven down to the village as there seemed to be parking available but we never did. The large dining table on the pool patio was just right for evening BBQs and then a late swim, the patio on the front perfect for al fresco breakfast. The balcony off the main bedroom has the most amazing view and I never tired of sitting there watching the boats and the beach whilst sipping my early morning tea or early evening Vino Verdhe. We will definitely be returning as there is still so much of the coastline to explore. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday.
