SEMA VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL IN THE HEART OF KYRENIA TOWN. SLEEPS 8

The purpose of our stay was a family gathering to celebrate Grandparents 70th birthdays. Cyprus was geographically central for meeting up. While the weather was mixed, the villa was an excellent base regardless. Should you have transport, Lefkosa is less than 30 mins away. the Villa location is only a 15min walk from the main road but more like 40 mins if you have the energy go walk all the way to the fort / seafront. We did, with the help of a quick beer on the way. The villa owner did visit with us initially to ensure all was as it should be and was very helpful at all times. An excellent villa and a great holiday for all ages.

We stayed here for 12 days from September the 11th and what a fabulous place to stay. When we arrived very tired and without our luggage it was lovely to find supplies in the fridge for us and a wonderful water cooler with a constant supply of ice cold water. Every room is air conditioned, and its so amazing to have your own pool which is quite overlooked by other apartments but to be honest we felt completely comfortable and no one is interested in looking, there is an awning which will give extra privacy, however we never felt the need to use it. There is a small supermarket literally a stones throw from the villa and just round the corner at the top of the hill the most amazing supermarket with a beautiful array of fresh fruit and vegetables. The harbour is a bit far away to walk to but there is a constant stream of dolmus's (mini-buses) at 7lira for two. Before I finish I would like to thank Marisa the owner for her helpfulness, she made us feel totally welcome, and her workforce the pool man and the couple who came round to check we were okay. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who likes 5 star accommodation in the heart of the local community.

We have just returned from a family stay at Sema Villa.. one of the most relaxing family holidays we have had! Outside is a fabulous pool at just the right temperature, sunbathing area and barbeque and room to park a small car behind locked gates. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need and more! To a very high modern finish. Which also included a substantial welcome pack. The owner and house manager were extremely helpful and hospitable .. we felt very at ease and explained anything and everything we needed to know, with quick response times to emails and/ or calls. The villa is in a quiet residential area- which is in walking distance of a varied arear of restaurants, supermarkets and harbour. To reach the beaches you need transport. We didn’t hire a car, but would recommend if wanting to really experience the coast line. We chose to uses taxis and local buses - which were both very cheap and easy to access. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Kyrenia. A handy supermarket a block away and bar restaurants round the corner. Some snagging problems but these were quickly resolved by the 'team'. Barking dogs at night but just close the windows. It looks and smells brand new - highly recommended.
