Sandy Rose Villa is an absolute find. My husband and I had been to Jamaica before, to various locations, and had a very good time. But this - this was a vacation we haven't stopped talking about/reminiscing.From the moment we were picked up from the airport and whisked away to this incredible location, it was a beautifully seamless process. Adaria was immediately responsive to any/all questions and has an incredibly deep bench of friends and colleagues that will assist her guests in anything they would need. The property and location are absolutely exquisite. An onsite pool and a short walk to a private beach gives the guests access to the beautiful ocean. We were blessed to have Tanya (the chef's) authentic food every night. And her food was absolutely exquisite!!!! Howard, the property caretaker, is absolutely wonderful. The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained, and his bench is equally deep! Need a fishing trip? He scheduled it with Captain Neal. Need a trip to Pelican Bar for dinner and drinks? Captain Neal will take you there!!!! And the most amazing part...exquisite Jamaican sunsets...every single night. We will be visiting Treasure Beach again, and soon!

Quite remote so needed a car for transport and the ride from Mobay is quite difficult - twisty and lots of potholes - takes adventurous drivers. Thats the downside. The house and grounds ate spectacularly beautiful - birds and flowering shrubs all around and the pool in the front yard was marvelous- private, minimally chlorinated and clean. Our caretaker, Howard, was wonderful and his mom Eana was a terrific cook. Our host Adaria was extremely responsive and helpful. You must be willing to accept that it is very laid back and quite third world which we loved but it would not be for everyone.

The property gives a spectacular view of the sea from a well situated balcony. The balcony and living/dining furniture is comfortable and is well suited for a small family gathering. The property would have even greater potential with further modernization of the some of the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom amenities.

The stay was great and it was not mentioned in the add but you get a chef included with your study. The house is beautiful and relaxing with a great host. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Adaria was wonderful in helping us make all of the arrangements for our rental and quick in answering all of our questions. The property is a little removed from the Treasure Beach area and a car is necessary, but this also ensured no road noise and much peace and quiet. There is a lovely, basically private beach just 5 minutes down the road. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon heat. Nadine and Ena prepared several fantastic meals for us and Howard took great care of the property. We would rent here again.

We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and peaceful location around 5 to 10 minutes walk from the beautiful turtle beach. Highly recommend. Noise privacy may be an issue for some as the walls of each room does not reach the ceiling. Otherwise, lovely sunset views are to be enjoyed every day on breezy verandah. Host, Adaria, was very friendly and responsive.

Let's list the fantastic parts of this property: the house the pool the quiet beach area the sunsets the great meals provided by wonderful cooks the cleanliness and safeness provided by the groundskeeper the forested hills in the back Moving on to the area: the tours provided by Treasure Tours including boat ride to a private island to snorkel, catch lobster to bake on the beach boat ride(s) to Pelican Bar for Red Stripes day trip to Lovers Leap..try the wings and fritters day trip to Ricks Cafe Negril...cliff jumping and great conversations But by far the best part of the trip was the people! One Love seems to be a true theme at Sandy Rose Villa and Treasure Beach. Adaria has a great property with great support. Nadine and Ena filled our bellies with wonderful Jamaican meals: Jerk Pork, beef stew, Jerk Chicken, and great breakfast which included the best banana pancakes. Adaria, Thank you for all the memories provided by your property and the people you picked to make our stay one we will never forget. ONE LOVE The Collier Family

THIS is the way to visit Jamaica! The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a pool all to ourselves and a gorgeous beach in walking distance. The family who works for the homeowner made us amazing food and saw to our every need - from shopping to transportation. We loved our bike trips to Treasure Beach, sampling the food and atmosphere at Jakes, Jack Sprats, and 77 West. Fantastic reggae concerts on Sunday night just across the street. And my son even played some pick up soccer with the local kids at the sports center. In all, a fun, relaxing, safe, and delicious vacation.

Six of us stayed for 7 nights at the Sandy Rose Villa in early January 2019. We have never been out of the US for vacation before and we wanted a memorable experience with Jamaicans not on a resort. Wow, this trip exceeded my expectations! Starting with the staff who were so welcoming on the very first night. They greeted us at the van where the staff and the driver took our things upstairs for us. The cooks, Ena and Nadine, were absolutely amazing and I wish I could have a couple weeks to cook with them and learn a few things. Yes, they were that good! They also communicated to Captain Neil and Teddy to set up our boat trips. They assisted us in making a local phone call for the driver to come get us last minute to go to a street dance. We visited YS Falls, Black River (saw dolphins on the way and crocs on the river), Floyd's Pelican Bar, Accompong on their annual celebration, and sunny island. We used the refreshing pool nearly every single day. We ate fresh lobster on a couple of excursions which was amazing. We had a bonfire on the beach on our last night. Amazing! If you are looking for a vacation that is away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is perfect. There are drivers that you can get to take you where you'd like to go. Both drivers are great. I wouldn't want to navigate those roads! The home is simple and cozy. I slept well here and that says a lot. We felt comfortable and never threatened. Howard is the grounds keeper and ensures the safety of the guests while at the house. The dog on the grounds is good at keeping you safe too :) While every vacation has a least favorite part, we all say it was the lack of warmer water for the shower. It's solar heated so the luke warm water didn't last long. For us, that wasn't a huge issue though and we would most certainly stay again. I can't wait to see our new friends in Treasure Beach again! Seriously consider a stay here...it's worth every penny and more. Also, don't forget to tip the staff, they work hard! Carrie Blessen
