San Pedro 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom Villa Diamond, ocean views, concierge onsite

La Perla was a lovely place to stay in Ambergris Caye! The villas were beautiful and spacious, and I especially loved the interior design and decorating. It was minimalistic, but still inviting and not lacking in character or color. A/C also worked wonderfully, which was a huge plus for me. Star, one of the office staff, is wonderful and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay.The villa offers booking of third-party services such as a private chef, pantry stocking, massages, taxi or boat from the main water taxi ports to the resort, and one day during our stay, there was a bartender serving drinks by the pool. For me, the only downsides to staying here are that it is about a 25 minute golf cart drive to more populated areas of the town and about 15 minutes of that drive, the roads are unpaved and extremely bumpy/uneven. Additionally, we had a very poor experience with the golf cart company that works with the villa. There were several technical issues with the carts, leading to us switching carts 6 different times over a 4-day period, which resulted in us having to cancel plans due to delays. If you book this villa, I would strongly advise booking your own golf cart rental, rather than booking one through the villa. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here! The only reason I wouldn’t return is bc of how far out it is and the condition of the road. If the road was paved the entire way, I would certainly consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! This was an amazing villa with lots of space for a Sister’s Trip (7 of us). The staff was great and we felt well cared for. Can’t wait to come back again!

We can say nothing short of, “it was amazing”! The accommodations were wonderful and the staff even better! All the amenities one could need were there. We will be back for sure!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this space!! Perfect place for a large group. Comfortable. Layout was perfect. Plenty of room. Stunning views!! Everything was set up for just what we needed. We had transportation to and from, golf cart rental, and excursions. We plan to make this an annual adventure. We just left today and we already miss everything.

From start to finish, this property was easy to communicate with and once we arrived, we entered paradise. The pool is fantastic as is that AC!

Our entire stay was made stress free by the amazing service provided by Michaela and her staff. They took care of our every need: from taking care of simple chores, to booking the golf carts, and assisting with making reservations to all the activities that Ambergris Caye had to offer. You really don't have to worry about anything when you stay at La Perla! Thank you Michaela!With a spectacular view of the Sea and easy access to the pool, Villa Diamond is perfectly situated on the property! The place was very spacious, clean, and airy! We thoroughly enjoyed every room and the spacious deck.We made full use of the complementary kayaks available at the property. We snorkeled Hol Chan and Shark-Ray alley, scuba dived at Mexico Rocks, enjoyed jet skiing at the Secret Beach, dinner at the Truck Stop, and a trip to Caye Caulker which included tarpon feeding and letting sting rays swim over our feet on the beach. Overall it was an unforgettable experience!La Perla's location, about 5 miles North of San Pedro town, was ideal for our family. We were able to go for a run on the unpaved, sparsely travelled road which would not have been possible in or near San Pedro town. There are several restaurants minutes away. Secret Beach and The Truck Stop are only a 20 minute golf cart ride. There is a small grocery store called Winey Gringa just minutes away from La Perla where we were able to get most of what we needed. If you are visiting Ambergris Caye, I highly recommend this property.

Everyone on property was extremely nice and accommodating and our villa was clean and spacious. The only downside was that we were a bit further from town. However, we were close to Secret Beach and spent a couple of days there. We enjoyed taking the golf carts to town when we wanted to go. We had one small child with us, and the staff at La Perla went out of their way to make sure he was having fun (brought him beach toys, coconuts, etc.) We certainly plan to be back!
