Stayed Jan 7, 2025Great location & access to Windward Side & the Mt Scenerary trailhead. Communications with the host throughout our planning process was exceptional. I wish that the outdoor furniture was clean and free of stains & debris. The property could’ve used a little weeding between around the pool and sun patio. The offer to assist us with securing some essentials prior to our arrival and to secure transportation to & from the airport was & is genuinely appreciated and was very helpful. The home is in need of a little TLC, but with that said, I would stay here again during our next visit to Saba.Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your home.

Stayed Jan 11, 2025Hummingbird Villa was fantastic. The place is huge, with beautiful views looking out to see and up into the mountains. It was a very short walk into town.We had flight cancellations arriving in Saba and Mark was always quick to answer back, offer suggestions, and arrange taxis.A perfect place to stay for our dive vacation.

Stayed Jun 19, 2024What a fantastic house. The pictures don’t even do it justice. Beautiful all the way through. Close enough to town to walk to anything you need. If you are going to Saba with friends I 100% recommend this house. There are three separate apartments in addition to the main house all very well equipped.

Stayed Jan 2, 2023The historic home with beautiful gardens is spacious and has three separate self contained living quarters. The deck by the pool and outside of the living room offers amazing views. The locals in the neighborhood are friendly, helpful and engaging. You feel secluded in nature yet are a short five minute walk into the Windward area with delicious restaurants and well stocked grocery stores. The grocery stores are restocked on Wednesday’s and this is the best day to get fresh fruit. I would bring a Britta filtered water bottle to cut back on the plastic bottles of drinking water. I would ask the owner to have water, some basics in the refrigerator and enough trash sacks and toilet paper upon your arrival especially if arriving on Sunday for the grocery stores are closed. Many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays so be sure and prepare to make meals on that day.

Stayed Sep 6, 2022We Loved our Experience staying at The Hummingbird Villa !! one of our favorite things was waking up with a pot of coffee and watching the morning sunrises as you can see 5-7 other islands on a clear day. We also enjoyed hangin by the pool in the afternoon with a few Iguana's that loved sun bathing on the rocks near us. Easy to walk everywhere on the Winward Side and enjoy all the restaurants. One of our Favorite places was SABA Snack. We experienced multiple Hikes like Sandy Cruz Trail, Hells Gate, Mas Cohone's, Crispeen & the Tide Pools were a must. We also snorkled for a few hours and saw some sharks, turtles & lots of schools of tropical fish of all sizes and colors. The people of SABA are extremely friendly and have some awesome stories on why they chose SABA as their home. We definitely look forward to our next trip back and would stay at this Villa if available.

Stayed Feb 19, 2022Stunning views from sunrise to sunset - that we took advantage of and cooked many meals at the house. Everything you need to cook. Great for groups that want a little space, especially with the guest house(s). The property has some dated features but is very functional and has a special charm. We had folks that needed to “check in with the office” and the 2nd living room off the kitchen was a great place to send the conference callers. The trip to town is definitely walkable - but involves a couple hills that gets recorded as exercise on your fitness device of choice. Like most of Saba, you have to be a bit weary of sharing the road with traffic - flashlights a good idea at night. Many good views along the way. Would definitely book again. Would suggest some simple amenities when guests arriving on Saturday with grocery store hours - and have some bottled water waiting. I know everything is online - but having the whats what - like grocery store hours and “typical” restaurant hours and closures would be helpful. Very easy to arrange transportation. Property manager was very responsive.

Stayed Dec 19, 2021We love Saba and the view here is spectacular! We didn’t rent a car and loved that we could walk to Windwardside for everything. The property manager was very helpful and I recommend having him bring some provisions ahead of time, especially water and beer, that are a little tough to carry home. Every person we encountered in Saba was incredibly kind. We would love to stay again

Stayed Jan 3, 2020This home is superb. It is divided by several buildings that can easily accommodate your all your guests. Our group consisted of young kids and adults. It was easy to assign all our group to the best situations. I had a whole guest house to myself and it was awesome. My son and his friends (20-25 yrs old) stayed at the main building and witnessed a sunrise every morning. They absolutely loved it. Pros: Owners very easy to deal with and communicate Great location with respect to the main city area and food, just a short walk Comfortable settings and a unique home with may amenities Great views, day and night - get the sky map app and see the constellations with their telescope, very cool Safe and peaceful, no noise from other homes/rentals Cons: Water is scare and you do not want to drink the water from a faucet. It's not dangerous, just dirty. BUT the owners supplied all we needed for consumption. This is a unique property with many advantages that people would love. I will return to Saba and rent this house/property again. Thank you again , Jaime and James Kerner.

Stayed Aug 25, 2018We absolutely loved our stay at the Hummingbird Villa. The house was perfect for our family (my husband, son, me, and my parents). There were places to hang out together... gorgeous deck, poolside, nice big living room... and we all had our favorite nooks when we wanted to be alone. It was a short, beautiful walk into Winwardside for groceries or dining out. We loved the island and our home base at Hummingbird!
