Stayed Mar 25, 2025This was our first time booking with Verbo instead of our usual air b&b. My husband booked our stay for Tuesday through Friday for our anniversary. Check in is at 4pm, property manager showed up at 7 to unlock the property, he kept insisting that our stay was to start on Friday. We received a mold bottle of red wine for our inconvenience. Upon entering my husband stated that it looks like a party had occurred recently, the backyard was filled with trash & clutter, we had to wait for the manager to make the bed up, and his information about the property was insufficient. Returning to the property the first night after a late dinner we were surprised that the manager was still on the property, after a long day we were ready to get cleaned up and go to bed. Unfortunately, we discovered that the bathroom had not been cleaned that chore became our responsibility. Our major disappointment was realizing that the property manager was there the entire duration of our stay. We found this to be very creepy and I personally felt like we were being watched. A short list of disappointments: given a bundle of keys without labels, dirty property inside and out, a quarter of the jets worked in the jacuzzi, I had to locate a suitable cleaner for the porcelain tub.

Stayed Jul 28, 2023VRBO called the owner of this property regarding the death of who booked this house three weeks in advance and he still refused to refund the stay. The property is overpriced due to the proximity to the River Walk. Too many items in the house made it hard to keep track of your own items.
