Renovated villa w/ lush nature views & screened porch only steps to the beach

The propeety is beautiful, there is a lovely pool, and a very short walk to the beach. We did have a few things happen this year that we've never experienced. For the first time, we had bugs in the kitchen.They looked like enormous ants with wings. Also,check out tine is 10am. The cleaning crew came at 8am and unloaded all of their towels,vacuum,cleaning supplies right at the front door.Then the stood outside and waited at the bottom of the steps. It felt rushed ha ing people stand there 2 hours early waiting. We were out before the 10am check out. We have stayed at Wendover Dunes a total of 6 tines, 3 or 4 in this unit. We've never had bugs or been rushed out at the end before. I think these were one offs but something to consider.

Heated community pool was great during spring break. Only downsides were the very early and constant leaf blowing and a nosy woman (neighbor?) asking my husband if we were staying there and which unit. It didnt bother him, he just assumed it was a local Karen but it made me uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Our annual trip to HHI was perfect, the condo was our favorite we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, updated flawlessly, and perfect for our family of 5. Would love to stay here again!

We had the best time! Short walk to beach and tennis. They even have a cabinet filled with games for the kids. I would highly recommend this property for your next trip to HHI.

Saw dolphins and deer..discovered a few new restaurants to us that were great - Ela’s and Ocean Lounge..very roomy & private for 2 couples to share...I have been coming to HHI for over 50 years and still find it magical!

The screened in porch has a quiet secluded feel, equipped with rockers for lounging and a small table for dining outside. Ideal location for anything on the island. We stayed for three weeks and the only negative is occasional noisy neighbors in the unit above, but that wouldn't stop me from returning. Would highly recommend!
