Welcome to our home in Spain.
Los Alcornoques, The Oak Trees, Is set amongst Vineyards, Almond and Olive Groves and close to the National Park Sierra de Tejeda.
With spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, particularly Mount Maroma the highest mountain in the Axarquia at 2,065m.
We are conveniently situated just off the A7207 mountain road, Between the Coastal town of Torrox and the Beautiful Traditional Village of Competa. Approx 10 min to the village and 15 mins to the Beach. Access to Villa from road is via concrete and short gravel drive,
no worrying rough unmade tracks to drive
And Approx. 50 minutes for Malaga International Airport.
Cómpeta is is well known for many hiking or biking routes and tours and due to the adjacent Natural Park areas, recommended for outdoor and nature enthusiasts.
The mountain road A7207 is perfect for cycling between the coast and Competa and is a well used route.
The Pavo Real Bar/Restaurant is a short drive/ Walk and has a great multinational atmosphere and has an excellent Sunday Lunch.
On the outskirts of Cómpeta you will find a small riding school. Directly from the stables the beautiful natural park can be reached on horseback
La Cueva de Nerja, one of the largest caves in Europe is a beautiful cave with amazing stalactites, is also known as the 'Cathedral of the Paleolithic. Is worth a visit. In July, because of the wonderful acoustics, annually a large dance and music festival is organized
The picturesque village of Competa is known for its Moorish influences with narrow winding streets, whitewashed houses and a beautiful village church.
All the local villages have numerous fiestas, with music and dancing throughout the summer , so you could party well into the night.

An Excellent Large Free form Swimming Pool, approx. 8m x 4m x1.2m, Unheated .
Pool is all one depth at 1.2m , making it perfect for swimming , playing games and Aquarobics.
With Roman steps at one end, making it very easy assess to the pool, perfect for people with reduced mobility.
Air Conditioning in most rooms except one bedroom, with Ceiling Fans in all Bedrooms
Out buildings consist of, A Large Pergola, Dinning for up to 8 people, 2 small storage rooms.

There is a extendable Dining table for 6 people, storage cupboard for shoes, access to Front Door and Patio Doors to garden Area. with large collection of books and puzzles.
The Lounge :-
A 3 seater reclining and 2 seater settee, various tables, a unit containing, 50 Flat screen smart TV, TV top box, DVD Player, sound bar and Wi-Fi unit.
There is a Large Air Con unit which also supplies the Sunroom/Lounge Area
The Kitchen :-
Fully fitted, with Oven, 4 Ring Induction hob, Large Fridge/Freezer, Microwave and Dishwater and Fully Equipped for all your cooking needs.
Bedroom 1 with On-suite bathroom:-
Consists of 2 - 3ft beds or 1- 6ft Bed, Large fitted wardrobes (one section locked owners personal use) and numerous drawer space, Air con unit plus ceiling fan,
Bedroom 2 :-
Consists of 2 - 3ft beds or 1- 6ft Bed, Fitted double wardrobes with storage inside, Two bedsides draws , Ceiling fan , this room has NO Air. Con.

    Our stay at the Villa was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The villa is stunning — spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean.The outdoor area is a dream. The private pool was sparkling clean and surrounded by the most gorgeous views, making it the perfect place to relax during the day or enjoy a quiet evening under the stars. It truly felt like our own private paradise.Communication from Vikki & Simon - Property Managers was fantastic.If you’re looking for the perfect combination of luxury, and privacy look no further. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to return so much so that we rebooked for next year within a couple of hours of being there!

    The property was so beautiful and tranquil. The gardens provided an oasis of colour and relaxation. The views over the mountains are breathtaking. The pool has Roman steps and a rail which made entering and exiting easy. We had hours of fun in the pool with the pool toys playing different games and, of course, to keep cool and relax in a place of beauty. Would highly recommend this gorgeous property.

    The villa is lovely with all the home comforts you could hope for. I only sight problem is it a bit from Competa so going out for dinner was a pain as very dark and the roads very wringing.

    Beautiful property in a quiet location - only 15 minutes drive from Competa and the beaches at Torrox. The pool, comfortable outdoor seating, shaded areas and air conditioning in villa made a very hot fortnight in August very enjoyable!

    We chose this villa because of its remoter location, quiet area and not being overlooked. The pictures do not do it justice! The outside space was perfect for chilling with lots of places to sit, the well looked after gardens were beautiful to look at and we saw so much wildlife including geckos and a few bats at night. The pool although not huge was perfect for cooling off in and playing some volleyball, inflatables were appreciated! The villa itself was gorgeous, tastefully decorated with quality furnishings, it isn’t massive but perfect when you’re outside most of the time anyway. Air conditioning was great, kitchen very well equipped (if like us you like to eat in a lot) the bbq was well used. We visited a few local areas, the nearest beach at Torrox Costa was around 20 minutes away and much more touristy with bars/restaurants galore. Our favourite was Competa about 15 mins away, a beautiful traditional town with many windy little streets to explore, shops selling gifts, ceramics, jewellery etc, cafes and restaurants with lots of choice. The market on Saturday was small but really nice and sold lots of different things including local produce. About 50 mins from Malaga airport we would say a car is essential for traveling around, the route is straight forward but the roads up the windy hill side do require some patience, the views however are absolutely stunning. There is an English bar about a km away that serves food and has music on. Don’t hesitate to book!
