PRIVATE VILLA WITH POOL IN THE ALGARVE AT OLHAO NEAR FARO

Very large and beautiful property. We especially enjoyed the large pool. The housekeeper was excellent - responding quickly to any questions we had.. really enjoyed our stay.

A group of 11 friends, some couples, some singles, men & women- we ALL loved the property. We enjoyed our meals on the outdoor dining area, lounged by the pool and I personally appreciated the rafts! It was big enough to not be in each others space but intimate enough to enjoy being together. But as always, the people make the property. The property manager Marisa was lovely and made the entire experience seamless and stress free, which for us is mandatory for vacation :)

We were a family of seven adults and six kids ages 7 months to 10 years the villa was equipped with everything we needed also high chair and baby cot games for outdoor play lg pool area plenty sun loungers and beach towels check in and communication was very efficient we only had two minor things we feel could have improved on .the bedding I assume was new for every check in but i personally prefer pillow slips and duvet covers and there was no spare bedding and travelling with kids you never know but overall I would still give my stay 10/10

Lovely Villa for our holiday with 8 friends.Nice restaurant within 7 minute walk and easy access to the town of Olhao by Uber,where there are lots or restaurants and bars

Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. This was not done and caused undue stress during the vacation. We left the villa having didn’t a long time clearing up and removing rubbish and finding bins to deposit various items - recycling- I believe the cleaners could do some of this as part of their jobs which we have paid for. large airy house with a modern feel. The house has 2 kitchens and 5 bathrooms, which is perfect for a large group.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The only negative comments would be the beds were not very comfortable particularly the twin beds. Also it would have been nice to have a few more amenities available at move in, like a couple laundry pods and some paper towel available. We were happy to buy some. A rental car is important because you can’t walk easily anywhere from the location. Portugal is beautiful and am so happy to have been able to spend some time in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about this Villa and the host. My family and I had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place. First class.

Stayed with family including kids and grandparents. The home is big and modern and clean with a beautiful private large yard and pool.We really enjoyed sitting outside and using the pool. One note that the house is not two villas as the listing says but really one large home where you could close off a section. Most homes we have visited have been better stocked so know that you need to get everything yourself even trash bags and cleaning supplies. There is no self check in or check out option but the local manager is responsive to try to makes things work.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Flamingo. We were an extended family group of 14 - seven adults and seven kids (age 11 months - 10 years). There was plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out. The kids loved spending most of their time in the pool. We mostly used the grill for cooking and ate on the patio outside. But the two kitchens and two living spaces were super useful. Marisa was a very responsive property manager, which we appreciated given all our questions :) There's a very small town nearby with a pharmacy and small market. Then Olhao is about 10-15 mins drive for supermarket, shops, etc. We had a couple rental cars, which I recommend. But we also used Uber sometimes, which worked.

We really enjoyed our stay and Marisa was very kind & accommodating. The house had everything we needed and is great housing 14 people. The pool is beautiful and the big yard and bocce really fun. The only information that would have been helpful was how to get to the various beaches as it takes some research. One beautiful beach Almona is only accessible via ferry and a 20 min walk but totally worth it. We loved the house and our stay!
