Stayed Jan 11, 2024This is perfect for a quiet getaway. Town is a short boat ride You have to be self-sufficient which made inexpensive Bed was huge and very comfortable Kitchen well equipped. Lounge had smart TV for a movie at night and good Wi-Fi. Hosts Matthew and Liz were great. Very attentive, friendly, responsive. The service was personalised. special thanks to Sean, their son for his help. There’s a small tropical reef out the front, which is a great snorkel. Will return!

Stayed Aug 22, 2023If you want to get away from it all this is an ideal place to stay. A very nice house on a very quiet private beach with everything provided. You'll be self-catering so be sure to bring your groceries and drinks! You can do as much or as little as you want, I went snorkelling with Sean at Nemo Bay which was spectacular!

Stayed Dec 3, 2025Great place to come and unwind. From watching the banana boats loaded with copra , fruit for the markets or loaded with people cruising past to awesome sunsets over the water , it’s a nice place to chill out .

From the serene location to the thoughtful amenities and exceptional service, every element exceeded my expectations. Nestled on the western side of Aore Laptia offered unparalleled tranquility. The peaceful ambiance provided a much-needed escape, and the sunsets were truly magical, painting the sky with unreal colors. The amenities were well-curated, ensuring comfort throughout. The fully equipped kitchen, including a gas hob and fridge, was a delight. The beach's supply of driftwood for bonfires added a rustic charm, while the shoreline bonfires accompanied by the waves created an indescribable experience. Yet, the standout was the extraordinary customer service. Matthew, our host, was a true asset. His assistance with taxis and insights about the island enhanced our stay. His genuine care and dedication elevated our experience. Not to be overlooked, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights for more adventurous days. In conclusion, Laptia getaway was enchanting. With its mesmerizing location, well-furnished amenities, and exceptional service, it's a must-visit.
