we booked this place as we were struck by the image of the villa right on the waters edge, and that is exactly what it is. The house is spacious, had a beautiful outside balcony area with great views, and couldn't be any closer to the water without waves coming in the front door. Dimitrios was a friendly, helpful, kind host, and we enjoyed some good talks with him and his advice on the area. the price is more than fair, maybe even a bit too low for what you get. But the big feature remains the ability to walk out your door, take two steps and you're in the water. priceless

This house was the reason why we chose Samos and it turned out to be even more perfect than we expected. It is right by the sea, it is clean and spacious, it has a very authentic stone-house vibe, a beautiful back garden and a breathtaking veranda on the second floor. The beach is pebbled and the sea is warm and very clean. The house is close to two private beaches on either side, close to the airport, a taxi station and a car/bike rental spot. It is also a very pleasant 25-30 min walk to Pythagorio. From the first until the last day we were kindly assisted by Eleni and her father. If we return to Samos, I would love to go back to this magical place.

The property and the house were beautiful and seemed very well kept. Great location to enjoy a private beach. Only one thing I would suggest changing would be the mattress in the main bedroom. Eleni met us with a smile and was ready for us if we had any questions. Thank you again for the stay in your beautiful home.

Myself and two friends had a wonderful week in this gorgeous villa literally 2 yards from the sea! It has a fantastic verandah on the first floor with a beautiful view of the beach, the sea, the nearby village, and the surrounding hills. There are two good sized bedrooms, and spacious kitchen/dining/lounge areas. Our host Dimitrios and his sister Eleni were so friendly and helpful and were always quick to answer any questions we had. I thoroughly recommend this jewel of a villa in such a fab location.

Anyone entering the house and property - either from the beach through a beautiful wooden door or from the street through the courtyard adjoining a lovingly maintained garden - will immediately realise that this house is not just any object rented to tourists, but a beautiful, real and authentic home. The villa is located directly on the beach, as the advertisement without exception correctly describes, so that you can step from the living room directly to the sea. During the day we enjoyed the big balcony with a great view to the sea in front of us and the villages Pythagorio (from the balcony on the left) and Ireon (from the balcony on the right), at night the wonderful starry sky and the peace. From Potokaki it takes only 25 minutes to walk to Pythagorio, where you can watch the tourists at one or the other ouzo at the harbour. Or you stay on your big balcony in the coastal villa, cook a snack in the in-house kitchen or get some snacks from the mini-market around the corner, which is open until 10 pm. The best restaurant in Potokaki is a good ten minutes walk in direction to Ireon directly at the beach. Especially nice is, to let the sound of the waves rock you to sleep at night. Depending on the waves you can also hear the cicadas calling sometimes. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place and real home very much and can only thank the owner for his confidence. With him we agreed on a common sense and cleaned the house and the balcony a bit before our departure. Maybe a few words about the owner: Dimitrios is a very friendly and open-minded guy, who was even kind enough to leave us wine, water and a few snacks to eat (without demanding anything in return). It's easy to recognize that he is not only interested in money and is very happy about people who really appreciate this wonderful place and this real home and treat it with care.
