Polignano a Mare house in quiet countryside

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful property. It is very close to Polignano and the beautiful beaches, but also secluded, quiet and spacious. Communication with Paolo was amazing, we were welcomed with fresh focaccia and ice cream cake! Wonderful! We can highly recommend this property and hope to come back again soon! We really enjoyed our stay in the house very much. Paolo is a perfect host, giving good advice for restaurants and locations when we arrived. The house is really a gem and if you want to relax, this is the location!

We really loved the House of the Pink Flowers, especially the outdoor living space. We spent nearly all of our time on the terrace surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. The indoor space is simple but comfortable. The only reason this house doesn’t get five stars is because of the drinking water situation but our host, Paolo, provided us with several cases of bottles. He was also a great source for tips about the local area and just an incredibly nice guy (he was pretty patient with us when we got slightly lost trying to find the house the first day). The house is a quick drive to many gorgeous beaches and other places to explore. Overall, we loved it.

The house is absolutely amazing - simple, but very comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. The garden is beautiful - olive and orange trees, strawberries, grapes, pears, nuts... we could taste anything :) the house is quite far from the road - no noise at all - very quiet place! The car is definitely needed, as it is about 10 minute drive from the sea and the beautiful Polignano a Mare. Definitely recommend and would love to come back.

We enjoyed our stay in this house! It is a very beautiful house with a great an spacious terrace where we had our meals. Our son had place enough to play! And Paolo even installed a swing for him at an olive tree! We spent most of our time outside. The kitchen is small but there is everything we needed. The garden is so lovely! We had the best season for delicous cherries, strawberries and medlars! Thank you Paolo! We really loved your house!

What a great stay we had at this villa. The villa was perfect! Located in the quiet countryside, it was a peaceful getaway from the busy cities. More importantly, it was located at a central location from everything. We were within close proximity to: Polignano a Mare (its old town is absolutely delightful), Ostuni, Monopoli beaches, Alberobello, Castellana Grottos. The villa is clean and comfortable, there is a very spacious living room, a functional kitchen, good sized family bathroom with washing machine, and we loved the veranda which allows to eat breakfast and dinner. Even the internet was working and a spacious parking for cars also exists. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants and was easy to contact with any questions we had during our stay. We certainly will recommend this place to family and friends, and we consider coming back another time. Marieke en Pieter, Nederland

Just a great house and stay in Puglia. The house is just as described: in a peaceful country setting, but not too secluded. The house (The Pink Flower House) is located about 5kms directly inland from Polignano a Mare in what can best be described as a rural residential area. It is on a dead-end quiet road with a small group of other houses in the area. It has about 2 hectares of land planted with a variety of fruit trees. The house is very comfortable, clean and furnished with a combination of traditional Italian and modern furniture. It has two good size bedrooms, a large dining room, modern bathroom, and basic but fully functional kitchen (we cooked a full dinner in it for guests). The terrace area as seen in the photo, is large and beautiful with surrounding gardens and a large outside grill area. The house is in excellent condition and shows great care has been taken with it. The owner, Paolo, was there upon out arrival and was gracious and very helpful all throughout our visit. All restaurant recommendations were great, as were the beaches. We enjoyed our original 2 weeks time here so much, we extended our stay for another 5 days. We will definitely return again to this house for another stay in this beautiful, charming and friendly area.
