You can swim in the pond but no actual pool which was why I booked. Cozy environment
Wonderful spot and Rob was a great host and was very helpful with everything. A little more focus on the cleaning ( especially outside on the terrace / bbq) would be recommendable. Otherwise a great place to stay.
I am from Bradley, Illinois, it was nice to return to the area. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with good neighbors and a beautiful view. My husband and I enjoyed visiting with my nephew and his family for the week. We invited my oldest brother and his wife over to hang out one day to chat and another evening with my neice and nephew. They loved the house. They didnt like the stairs, thats okay, we survived it.
We brought our four kids . The view was amazing . The kids had a blast playing down by the river. It was a perfect spot for us, very relaxing and just what we all needed.
We enjoyed the home and property. River view from deck is outstanding. Beautiful place to watch the weather move thru to Kankakee
There's a lot of good things to do nearby, and the house is neat. There is a downstairs level caretaker whom you may see at the property, something to keep in mind if you are looking for total privacy. Additionally, I could not get the dryer to work, and the upstairs sink in the half bathroom did not have water. Otherwise, the host was responsive and very nice.
Great spot with a beautiful view of the river. Saw bald eagles and coyote. Next time will bring binoculars to see even more of the nature in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Very nice quiet neighborhood that was close to lots of shops and places to eat. Would definitely book again!
We rented this place to celebrate my best friend’s 40th birthday. Loved that it wasn’t a far drive from the city. The view from the back of the house was amazing. We all enjoyed our stay ?
This property is aptly named as it is in a great location, has lots of room, nice neighbors, and some really neat features. While there was a little mix up during our stay the owner was very responsive. It was a great neighborhood.. at one point my daughter and her girlfriend stopped in when I wasn’t there. They were struggling to get a pack and play into her trunk and the neighbor man next door was kind enough to assist! We were really busy with my daughters wedding and didn’t get to really enjoy the back deck on the river as much as we wanted but it was nice to have our coffee out there in the morning!
We stayed at this property for 10 days visiting family in the area. The location is convenient and is walkable to the main river walk and Perry Farm. The house itself was perfect for us and our dogs. It had a great view of river and multiple decks. I should mention though that there is an apartment below it (sub-basement) with a dog who woke us up several nights with barking. The door to the basement apartment was also not lockable from our side. The area by the river wasn't usable with high grass, and just a note there is also a camera on the front of the house. Overall, the location and main floor was a great spot for us.
Rob was very responsive and and excellent to deal with. The view from the house and deck is fabulous. Charming house.
Stayed for an overnight with friends, and we were all delighted to've chosen this property. Watching the sunset on the back deck was awesome, and the location was amazing. Thank you so much!
Very nice upstairs and back deck. Plenty of room. Owner is great. Would stay again. Inside stairs to the bedrooms are steep - may be challenging to elders. Walkway to river is a long way down steps and easiest entry access was through neighbor's yard where it was trimmed . Best spot on the river, convenient, quiet neighborhood.
Great overnight stay for our bachelorette party! Safe area and beautiful views!
The place is great! Wonderful location and property manager was easy to talk to. The only negative are the neighbors. We had 2 separate neighbors come over (one at 7:45am) to move our cars even though it doesn’t say anywhere that you can’t park there.
