Palmetto Dunes Gem! Gated Beach, Oceanfront Pool! BEST LOCATION in Captains Cove

This is the second year we have stayed here & we hope to make it next year as well. The owners were responsive & very helpful whenever I reached out. A definite recommendation for sure!

The condo is beautiful & updated. Great spot- across street from beach- short walk. Would definitely stay there again. Communication with owner was excellent & they were helpful with any issues. Beds were very comfortable, which is a plus.

My family and I stayed at this Palmetto Dunes home and we cannot express enough, it was wonderful! Excellent accommodations, location and the hosts were great! We look forward to another visit in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Captains Cove! The villa was very close to the beach, great views of the lagoon and lots of amenities at Palmetto Dunes. Highly recommend. Perfect place for our adult family of 6.

We loved our stay at Captains Cove! It’s a quick watch to the beach and the pool was very nice. Amy was great to work with and communicated very quickly. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

I cannot say enough positive things about this property! The location was great, very close to the beach! The pool was beautiful and very clean! The beach house was big enough for our family of 11- which included an infant and toddler! Communication with the owners was great! Will definitely stay here again!

Our family had the most incredible vacation in Palmetto Dunes. The Resort is a lovely family friendly resort that had everything we needed. Bike rentals, general store, Omni Hotel was a plus with great restaurant and beach bar; all within walking distance of the villa.The villa was spacious, well equipped, and tastefully decorated and clean! Beds were super comfortable, water pressure was great (always hot water) and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were attentive. We would definitely book this villa again!!

We could not have been happier, we have come it Hilton Head on vacation a lot and this by far was the best place to stay!! The house was amazing, so clean, I am a bit of neat freak and I was super impressed!! It was fully equipped and I mean fully. The kitchen was beautiful, furniture very comfy!! It was perfect for 2 families! The front and back porches were lovely to sit on and the kids enjoyed fishing right off the back dock!We were literally a 2 minute walk to our HUGE heated pool and steps from there a away from the beach! the house had all the beach chairs and sand toys you could ask for!! There are also 2 really nice hotels in the community and we went and enjoyed lunch and drinks a few times at those. Also there was an awesome general store that my family enjoyed and we were able to rent bikes right in Palemetto Dunes. Communicating with Amy and Jef was also super easy, they were lovely! I can't say enough wonderful things!! If you are looking for a house on HHI I highly recommend this one!!

This was our second year vacationing in this area of Palmetto Dunes. It's perfect for our 3-year old grandson, with just one road to cross and steps from the beach/pool area and with another little one expected in October this year, we look forward to staying in the same location, hopefully, the same unit next year. The owners/hosts were quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend 499 Captain's Cove!

This property has everything we needed for and amazing family vacation. The location and amenities were top notch and we always felt so welcome with Amy and Jeff.

Loved this property. We went there on a special occasion and were not disappointed. Everything was there for a family to use. The property access to amenities was great. Would do it again!

Located right in the heart of Palmetto Dunes. The Pickleball Center is a short walk/bike ride away which is great if you like the early bird round robin at 7:30am. The kids love being able to walk to the General Store. Also great to be close to the Ocean Course as they just added a really cool golf simulator. My family had a blast doing that so highly recommend.

The beginning of the week we were a little scared of what might happen with the impending storm. We appreciated communication from the owners allaying our fears and letting us know that they would contact us if the resort felt evacuation was necessary. As it turned out, though, we had mainly rain and there were breaks in the weather with Thursday and Friday absolutely beautiful. Our little granddaughters enjoyed time playing in the house as well as in the pool and at the beach. We played games, put puzzles together, and watched the Olympics during the rain and enjoyed our time on the beach. Regardless of the weather, we still had an amazing week and hope to return to Hilton Head in the future.

Hilton head, palmetto Dunes were very excting with many things to do on the island, horseback riding, tubing and going up in the lighthouse were just to name a few. Eating on the deck while watching the alligators watch us was very interesting. There was plenty of room and people weren’t too crowded smashed up altogether. It was a great family spot. The spot was very clean the land lord was right the place is really clean, and easily kept clean.

We've stayed on Hilton Head before, and we all agreed this was the best rental we've had! The location was great. Everything was provided that we needed, and the proximity to the beach and pool was excellent! We were close to all of our favorite restaurants, and shops. Really enjoyed our stay and we plan to visit again!

The house was nicely decorated and clean. There was fun and interesting animal life out back including large birds and an alligator. The owner was a great communicator. Short walk to the pool/beach. Nice area to rent bikes- could ride to the grocery store and a few restaurants . 0 problems.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The owners were great! They reaching out before and during our stay to ensure our needs we met. The house was beautiful, well-maintained, and in the perfect location. I would absolutely recommend this property to others and would most certainly stay here again. 5-stars!
