Great news lace to take a family to both the beach and the town.

First, the host was really great. Communicated very quickly. Unfortunately, the house was basically like a Frat house. Not cared for at all. The smell was not great. The whole house is just dirty. The host offered to send someone out but this house needs a lot more than a once-over with a broom. Based on the price, I wasn't expected anything luxurious and the location is great. But you don't expect the house to be a filthy mess.

I got a call the night before our stay that our original VRBO had flooded, so VRBO helped us find a new unit and this was it. I typically do a lot of investigating before picking the place, so this was a new experience. Here would be the reasons to choose this unit: 1) Proximity to the beach. 2) Walking distance to restaurants and shops. 3) Large unit with large bedrooms. 4) Two-car garage at the beach! 5) No ants or any other critters, which is not always the case at the beach.Here would be the reasons we would not have chosen it: 1) There is a LOT of room upstairs with the bedrooms, and 8 people could stay there comfortably. However, it's the opposite downstairs. The two rooms are very disconnected and neither can comfortably fit 8, closer to 4 would be more accurate. And the kitchen was tiny compared to the square footage. 2) The unit shows its age and needs some TLC. 3) The garage door opener was a nightmare. I actually went out and bought a new battery, thinking that would solve the problem, but it didn't. Most of the time, I had to get out of the car, walk back up to the front door, go in that way, and then walk back to the garage to open it for the car. 4) PCH is so loud! We like to have the windows open at night, but with that street noise, it wasn't worth it.Overall, I would say it was a fine place to stay for those who need a lot of space and want to walk to the beach.

Outdated, needs some repairs like sliding doors that don't open, windows that don't open, trash door doesn't work well, toilet has issues, shelf in shower is broken, one of the showers looked like it had been fixed but still leaking, toilet paper holder was repaired but left unfinished. Very dirty!. Issues with internet- as in it didn't work for 4 days. so no internet, no tv. Came back one day after being gone and there was a homeless person sitting out front. One night someone living out of their van was sleeping in it with his door open. Won't stay here again

Host very responsive. We had an issue because the dishwasher wasn't working. It was replaced within 2 days.

Great stay here at this house! Was perfect location to walk to our event at Huntington Beach. Definitely a huge plus for location. The house fit our crew of adults very well. The smaller bedrooms had some pretty stiff beds though. And all the rooms could use new pillows as they were all very flat. But the location and size of the house made up for uncomfortable beds! Thank you for a great stay!

This place was great! The location is perfect. We barely needed to use our van to go places. Like the other reviewers said, this home is located steps from the Pacific Coast Highway which can be pretty loud at night with muscle cars and motorcycles trying to be super cool (if you know what I mean). Earplugs may be a good suggestion for those who sleep lightly. Melanie was incredibly fast at responding and went out of her way to bring us garbage bags and a bike pump one day. We especially loved the patio fire pit. It was so cozy and inviting to sit by after a long day at the beach. I’d stay here again!

Was everything we needed and very convenient to everything we wanted to do.

This was an amazing property. Definitely would stay here again. House was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Perfect for families. Location was great. Steps to the beach and Main Street. Great views as well! Host was amazing and responded right away. We had a great family vac here!

Everything you need for a perfect beach stay. Steps from the ocean and all the HB dining, shopping and entertainment. Definitely yearning to return again.Amenities are maintained and vlean.

The property was awesome and perfect location. The host was responsive and went above and beyond for us to have an amazing stay. Absolutely one of the best I have stayed in overall.

It was so nice to be one block off the beach. This home was convenient with 4 bedrooms to fit our group in town for a conference. Great to have a garage to park in. And the host was on it with communication.

Great visit

This home was very comfortable and just a block from the beach with views of the beach. The beds were comfortable and the host was easy to reach. This was a vacation rental so I don't get too picky, but if I had one wish it would have been a couple more large pans. With a family of 8, we had to be creative making breakfast with only one large pan, but we managed. We would stay again.
