On the edge of the National Park, the perfect distance between the sea and the mountains

Clean property, spacious and comfortable rooms, felt very homely and safe. pool was great, good size and temperature, a lot of outdoor space and lovely garden. we were made to feel very welcome. very quiet and sleepy village. The small shop across the road is great for all basic needs, and more. Distance to the rest of Istria was really convenient, and we even made it to Postojna caves in 1hr 40min. Nearest big shops were 20 min away. Great place to enjoy the area as well as relaxation 'at home'.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the family is lovely. Looking forward to go back there!

We had a really good holiday in Croatia but we were a little disappointed with the villa we stayed in. Although the property showed a lot of character, it was let down by few niggly things. Firstly the kitchen seems to be work in progress as their was no oven fitted and the lower units below sink and hob were very empty. The rest of the kitchen was fine. The downstairs master shower room had a very serious foul smell that we can only put down to the drains. We did purchase some dissinfectant to ease this a bit. The lounge did not cater for 6 adults seating wise which meant we had to bring in 2 of the outside Rattin chairs to be more comfortable. Although not a problem to us, the TV gave no English channels whatsover. The one major problem for us, being older people, was the fact that the only toilets were downstairs. With the stairs being the old wooden type, there was no way you could come down without any noise. Myself and my wife stayed in the middle room and were the only ones that regularly were bitten by something in bed. On looking at the photos on your site, they do make the property look alot better than reality. Despite the above, we really enjoyed our stay in Croatia and would recommend anyone thinking of visiting

In a beautiful private setting this villa has been a wonderful place to stay. The pool, veranda and large garden made outdoor living a pleasure. The villa boasts 2 showers, fine beds, a well equiped kitchen and a functional bathroom. There is a very convenient grocery stop on the other side of the road, about 10 meters walk. It sels just about anything for very reasonable prices. The whole of Istria can be easily reached within a one hours drive from the villa. The only downside was the washing machine. I would have given 5 stars if it was replaced by a newer and safer model. We can certainly recommend the villa and hope to pay a visit again!

A beautiful place to stay in a very peaceful and tranquil environment with complete privacy. From the villa the whole peninsula of Istria can be reached within an hours driving. The pool, veranda and garden make outdoor living a great pleasure. Just outside the villa is a very convenient grocery store that is small but sells alomst everything for very reasonable prices. The villa has 2 showers, well equiped kitchen, functional bathroom. The beds and bedroom were fantastic and tastefully decorated.The washing machine was maybe the only downside. If replaced (it was an older model) I think I would have given 5 stars. Regardless of the state of the washing machine I would certainly recommend people to stay here!
