Stayed Dec 31, 1969We, a group of three couples had the exceptional opportunity to spend two extraordinary weeks in Villa Annchen in Mombasa - Mtwapa Creek. In short words: we just loved it! The accommodation is simply an amazing location with an outstanding view over the Indian Ocean inlet Mtwapa Creek, needless to speak about the exceptional sundowners one can experience from the home. Our expectations from what we saw in the pictures on the website were very high. Nevertheless they were exceeded by far! The staff of the house did a fantastic job in accommodating us and we would like to highlight Rebeccah as a lovely and always helpfull house manager. Further, the handling and negotiations with the owners of the house were very straightforward, uncomplicated, efficient and pleasant. To cut a long story short: we all fell in love with Villa Annchen and hope to return very soon to re-live the unforgettable experience. I think we speak for all of us: we want to come back for sure!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This villa is absolutely charming all the way to the details. We were warmly received by the villa manager who picked us up from airport and felt immediately at home. This beautiful home, divided into individual rooms, is even more lovely in person than in the photographs (which is not always the case). The rooms are uniquely and tastefully designed and decorated, the space is very comfortable and refreshing. The pool is the best among many that I visited in 6 months in the region of East Africa. The gardens and grounds in general are well kept and stunning. The meals made by our private chef are healthy and delicious. We wanted a quiet, restful, picturesque getaway and that is just what I found at Villa Annchen!
