Stayed Aug 3, 2024Fantastic villa, located a couple of kms away from Chaweng beach. 5 very well appointed double bedrooms, all with modern decor and furnishings. Good sized freshwater pool. Incredible views from villa and most of the bedrooms. Lots of room for sunbathing & relaxing. Not overlooked by other villas, and what construction is occurring (as it is all over Koh Samui) is not so close as to be intrusive. Very responsive hosts - Eric & Cecile - thank you so much for hosting me and my family (including 4 teenagers, age range 13 to 17). Location is a good base for exploring Koh Samui. Worth noting, the villa is located at the top of quite a steep hill, and not really within walking distance of shops/restaurants/bars, so a 4x4 car is advisable. Our stay at villa Melissa was one of our best family holidays ever, and we would return here in a heartbeat - when booking on VRBO the limited number of reviews did concern me a little, but having experienced it for myself, i would recommend this villa without hesitation!
