As soon as you enter through the double entrance doors you are met with the coolness of summer,
the living room is fresh and airy with high ceilings and oodles of muted light coming in from soft voile
curtains. The interiors have a fresh and airy atmosphere which is comfortable and inviting with
furnishings in neutrals and summery hues of blue. The floors inside are solid stone and meld
seamlessly to the outdoors.
Air conditioning is installed in all rooms for maximum comfort.
The kitchen is fully equipped, contemporary and with black granite work surfaces it has a central
island for cooking which allows enough space for more than one chef at a time, the American-style
fridge has ice on tap and has plenty of space to stock up during your stay. Laundry and tumble dryer
facilities are to be found on the lower floor.
Going downstairs is a delightful surprise and you will probably find that you spend most of your
holiday from this base. It is also equipped with storage space, and a fridge freezer. From here you
can start each day with breakfast overlooking the pool before moving to the terrace for some
serious sunbathing. Getting too hot move back inside to air conditioned rooms to read, surf or nap,
or simply catch up on your favourite English TV channels. Sky Sports is available and the WIFI is free
and fast, supporting any number of devices! The pool can be heated in the winter months. Laundry
and tumble dryer facilities are also on this floor.

4 spacious bedrooms are cool and contemporary and like the other living areas; they use a
restrained colour scheme for a luxury look that’s still relaxed and summery. Floors here are all
natural wood to complement the neutral tones. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom are on
the ground floor with one double and one twin on the lower floor. All have en-suite bathrooms and
some have private seating areas on terraces.
Strolling to the central Encosta do Lago reception area you will find a poolside café and bar, it takes
just five minutes on foot to get there and hook up with other guests. If you want to keep trim while
enjoying your stay speak to Marco at the gym, you can use the gym free of charge, or for a small fee
join in with his classes or private training sessions. There are also massage rooms to help de-stress
and relax. And for the evening Tucano’s restaurant with its pool views offers a variety of
Mediterranean style fish and meat dishes.
