Stayed Jul 5, 2023We can't say enough about this property. It is so wonderful. The views are stunning. The house is spacious and clean. But best of all the hosts are so gracious and helpful. We were met with fresh fruit from their orchard each day. They were so friendly and helpful at every turn. and the mountain village was safe and welcoming.

Stayed Jun 16, 2023The house was clean and suitable for a family holiday. There is a beautiful wiev from the roof terrace. Raffaele was an excellend host. Everything went well with him. The pool was situeted in a nearby agriturismo, about 100 meters away and Raffaele’s guests have free access there. The streets are narrow, so don’t come with a huge car.

Stayed Jul 13, 2019This house is perched on a hill overlooking the bay of Naples. Sunsets from the patio are amazing. The villa has three apartments, two with the owner & parents- they create a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. The garden is beautiful. The house is really well laid out for family holidays. Exactly as described. The nearest family pizzeria is a 5 minute walk- good & very cheap! Local shops include tiny supermarket that has most essentials, veg shop & cafe/ice cream/currency exchange. The town of Vico Equense has some good restaurants & nearby beaches. We visited Sorrento (about 40 mins away)- parking centrale was reasonable price & near shops/restaurants. Pompeii was a 45 min drive towards Naples & worth seeing- also visit the archeological museum in Naples to see artefacts from the site. The house is only really accessible with a car (although there is a bus service that takes you much of the way). Walking is arduous (although fun & stunning views). Driving is quite scary- ***the roads are very narrow, hilly & winding**. Driving is true to local reputation so if you drive- pay for all extra insurance & hire the smallest car possible- Fiat panda/500 or similar. We had an amazing time- thank you Raffaele & family.

Stayed Jun 19, 2018The 5 of us had a wonderful 4 day stay here. (3 adults and 2 boys: 12 & 14.) Rafaele was a great host and the resident dog, Luna, was very friendly. The various patios and balconies offered beautiful and varied views of the Mediterranean, Mt. Vesuvius, and the Vico Equense coast. The pool facility was also quite nice. Getting there was quite an adventure, but worth it. We’d love to return some day.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment was just perfect and the hospitality exceptional. It is the upper floor of the family home that has been turned into an exceptional rental. The rental is spacious, fully equipped, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the sofa nice to sit on. Beautiful wood work enhances the tile making it very Italian. Rafaelle was responsive and and answered all our questions but the real treat was his father. Padre lives down stairs and met us in town to lead us to the apartment. He gave us coffee and even helped with our car. He and his wife made us a traditional cake that was delicious. The only downside is the road to the house. Be sure you have a SMALL car, a good GPS and no aversion to narrow roads. Enjoyed our stay a great deal.

Stayed Mar 31, 2017We spent 8 nights at this property. The apartment was comfortable, clean and very spacious. The owner, Raffaele, was very kind and helpful. His parents, who live on the ground floor apartment, are lovely: they made us feel very welcome and they gave us some delicious products from their garden. We found the location a great base to visit Pompei, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi coast. The apartment is situated high up in the hills, which provides a fantastic view and a nice rural environment with hardly any traffic. It felt very safe and we were happy to leave our children playing on their own in the very big garden. The nearby family-run restaurant does very good pizza at very reasonable prices and they do home delivery.

Stayed Sep 24, 2016We loved this appartement with spectacular view on the bay. Very specious, nice and clean and lovely owners. The provided us with fresh picked fruit, porcini mushrooms, walnuts and honey. The trip up the mountain by car is an adventure and well worth it.
