Stayed Jul 15, 20231. There were cameras in the rooms which we didn’t notice, and we were not informed about by VRBO or the host. Our privacy was invaded. 2. We paid for 4 bedroom house however we were only given access to 3 bedrooms and one was kept locked and marked private. 3. We were not informed of the check out time by VRBO and the host and she called us on our check out date at 10:30 am and asked us to get out of the house by 11 am. The way she spoke to me can only be described as rude and racist. Her cleaners entered the house at 10 am even though she said check out time was 11 am. 4. The location was not good, no Uber and no food delivery either, we were totally isolated from the the city. 5. We could not use the balcony area as her doors were old and broken by previous guests she claimed, since there was no AC and no ventilation and no fans the house was like an oven, impossible to stay inside. All the doors in the house were old and noisy. Save your money and look for a better place, this host is not someone you want to deal with she will ruin your trip.

Stayed Jul 14, 2022Asa and Martin are wonderful hosts, excellent communication throughout. We loved our stay here in Hjuvik. The house is wonderful. We felt at home immediately. It is very well catered for which makes for easy living. We loved the kitchen living area and cooked many a happy meal. The local supermarket has everything you need and more. Easy access to Gothenburg and minutes from the ferry that takes you to Hono and onwards to the other islands. Highly recommend a stay here.

Stayed Jul 3, 2022We really liked the house: much space, beautiful views. Upon arrival, future renters should check the house meticulously, as we were charged unjustly for existing damage that we did not notice.

Stayed Dec 27, 2021A very lovingly and cosy decorated accomodation. Feels totally homely. Fantastic view at the ocean, because it‘s located a bit higher than the other houses and has a large windowfront. Close to a big supermarket and not far away from the city Göteborg with many restaurants and shopping possibilities. Also close are some little islands with a beautiful landscape to enjoy! Nice contact with the owner. Always available and quick at responding.
