Mario and Angela are incredible hosts and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The property was stunning and stocked with everything we needed and more. The place truly felt like home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Sicily!!

This is a well appointed home in a beautiful location, with views of the sea, Taormina, and Mt Etna! Citrus garden and quiet location was very enjoyable after a long day. Mario and Angela were excellent hosts-friendly and informative-we felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend!

Spacious, comfortable and calm holiday home in the hills nearby Etna and Taormina

Perfect location for starting your daily tours. For 1 week you can cover locations from Capo d' Orlando up to Acireal + including a day visit to Etna. The house is clean and has all you need except for dishwasher. Mario and his wife are very friendly and helpful on your requests.

Excellent stay in this great country house surrounded by citrus trees. The house has two large bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area. Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. Mario and Angela are wonderful hosts.

The house was very well equipped. Mario and Angela are very friendly and helpful and gave us some food when we arrived to get us started. Great views of Mt Etna from the terrace at the back of the house . We would definitely recommend this property. Lots to see and do in the area , car is a must .

Normally we say this sentence when we return home after a long journey but this time we pronounced it by opening the door of the cozy holiday home of Angela and Mario owners of “ Antico casale degli agrumi”. We stay there for three weeks on September 2015. The house is beautiful and big with amazing vew to the sea and the hill of Taormina and the majestic vulcano Etna. The spaces are designed and furnished with attention to every detail in a style that is modern and classic at the same time. The first impact is really amazing especially for the cleanliness and comfort. The owners pays a big attention of the property, from the garden to the cutlery. There is a space to park 3 or 4 cars. The house is located in a quiet village on the slopes of Etna, a few steps from the sea and halfway between Taormina and Catania. A perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday with family and friends. We loved walking out on the terrace of the bedroom early in the morning to enjoy the view of the sea up to the horizon and greeting the rising sun, while it was slowly lightening the hill of Taormina. Then more later we loved to move to the west side of the house on the large terrace with a cup of wine to admire the play of lights and clouds above the majestic Etna, all this surrounded by a beautiful garden of lemon trees and many plants and flowers. The delightful owners Angela and Mario welcomed us warmly. We immediately established a good friendship and it was as if we knew all along. Surely this will be our home every time we return to Sicily. We heartily recommend the “Antico casale degli agrumi” to all those who wish to spend a lovely stay in Sicily. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 young children staying at the house. The house is very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful and the location is ideal for visiting the Etna, Taormina, Catania, Syracuse area. All of us enjoyed the garden and also wandering in the lemon and orange orchard. The villa has excellent views of of Mt. Etna and the ocean on different terraces. It is not really possible to walk to a supermarket. One needs a car for shopping groceries. The owners Mario and Angela made us feel like family. They were extremely helpful e.g. when our 7-month old was sick they found a pediatrician and setup an appointment for us. Also they gave us good recipes for cooking local dishes with artichokes which happened to be in season and great tips for local restaurants.
