Genoten van een erg fijne week in dit mooie vakantiehuis. Zeker een aanrader. Een gastvrij koppel die zeker en vast je privacy respecteren maar ook met veel plezier je vragen beantwoorden.

It looks just like the photos. If you love the photos you will love this place. It is so peaceful and quite. The gardens are so tranquil and there is so much bird and animal life to remind us city dwellers what it is really like to live in a small country town. There are plenty of very nteresting and very different towns and villages within a 45 min drive and we even jumped on a fast train to Paris for a day without any hassle or issues (45 min drive and 2 hours on the train) The only negative is we did get caught out a few times trying to find somewhere to eat when everything was closing at 1.30pm and many not reopening until 7pm. (plan ahead) The house is huge and I would recommend it for larger groups otherwise it may feel a bit empty (we had a party of 6 people) The owners are lovely and although they speak very little English we managed communication between our two cultures. 5 star holiday.

Als je op zoek bent naar rust en groen en je verblijft graag in een stevig en robuust gebouw met geschiedenis is dit een absolute aanrader. De eigenaars zijn vriendelijke, lieve mensen die je alle rust gunnen en je persoonlijke levenssfeer eerbiedigen. Je mag vrij rondlopen op het domein en je kunt vanuit eindeloos ver kijken. Heel ontspannend. Decize, de Loire, Le Canal de Nivernais liggen vlakbij. Je kan er wandelen en om te fietsen is het er ideaal. Boodschappen doen? Op geen tien minuutjes ben je met de wagen aan het warenhuis.

We had a pleasant stay at this mansion, but it was quite straightforward, The house was clean, and all essential amenities were present, The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed their space, The location is peaceful, making it great for a family retreat, but don’t expect too much in terms of luxury, We found the terrace nice for some quiet time, though we didn't use the barbecue facilities, A good option if you're looking for somewhere calm and functional
