The house exceeded our expectations! We loved the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the pool area so much. We were a group of 9 - ages 16 to 75. The home was spotless and check in easy. Parking was spacious which was a relief as we were worried about space. The host was very quick to answer any questions I had. Many thanks for a fantastic stay!

My family and I stayed for a week during which we celebrated my daughter's wedding at the nearby Torre Normanna. The Villa's location was perfect and so close to everything we needed! We had such a great time and all agreed the Villa was truly magnificent! The views were stunning, the place was immaculate and we had more than enough room for our large group!!! I would highly recommend!!!

Our recent stay at this VRBO property for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary was absolutely perfect. With ample space for seven, the breathtaking views surpassed even the stunning pictures online. We cherished our time by the pool, enjoying coffee on the patio, and sharing conversations on the rooftop, each spot offering its own magnificent vista of the sea and coastline. A Magical Oasis truly is the ideal description. Ulrico, our host, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay.A highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the two home-cooked meals prepared by Carmela and Caterina. They were absolutely delicious! We highly recommend scheduling at least one dinner during your stay. It was wonderful to enjoy a fantastic meal in the beautiful outdoor dining area. Beyond their excellent culinary skills, Carmela and Caterina were exceptional hostesses, making the dining experience both beautiful and comfortable.We also highly recommend Anthony's taxi service. Anthony didn't just arrange our transport; he also planned fantastic excursions for us, including a trip to Ravello and a cooking class in Scala. These were two of our favorite outings, and Anthony's service truly made our trip easy and enjoyable.If you're looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful location, this is absolutely the place to be! The kindness and welcoming nature of everyone we encountered made our stay even more special.

We had an incredible stay in Maiori at a beautiful villa with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast and the sea. The location was perfect—peacefully tucked away from the tourist crowds, yet close enough to everything to make it the ideal home base for exploring the area. The pool and the grounds were absolutely stunning—just unreal. Special thanks to Rosaria and Caterina, who went above and beyond as caretakers. They were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. This place truly felt like a hidden gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location and service , stunning views , beautifully appointed property. I only wish the water temperature in the pool was a bit higher- but other than that , everything was exactly as described .It totally met our expectations and standards and our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Calcara in

This was such a dream villa in a dreamy spot. Tucked away (a little far) from the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast but absolutely packed full of EVERY SINGLE THING we could possibly need for an incredible vacation! The house keepers were lovely - the owner was SO helpful and responsive - even the resident taxi driver was BEYOND wonderful.I loved the stocked kitchen and al fresco dining. The rooms were all cozy and wonderful.The pool was dreamy -- and we had a blast hiking all the way down to the sea and swimming in the cave and jumping off the Sporty entrance We just loved it all. Thank you SO much

The villa was amazing. The location was perfect, with fantastic views of the Amalfi Coast. We had 8 adult (27 Apr - 1 May 2025) The accommodations were excellent…everything we needed was readily available. The pool was a beautiful place to relax. The temperature was perfect and comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The swimming area by the grotto (15 minute hike) was a blast for the younger adults. The cliff jumping was crazy fun. We used Anthony for transportation and he was another huge plus. He was on time and was like a personal driver (the van holds 8 people). The cost was 50 to Maiori, 100 to Amalfi, and 200 to the airport in Naples.We hiked the Path Of The Gods from Bomerano to Positano….amazing views!!Capri - a must! We hired a private boat for the day and it was an fantastic addition to our trip.One of the best things we did was a private dinner at the villa. The food was delicious and our favorite meal of the week. Carmela is an incredible cook!! We would definitely arrange at least 2 dinners next time. Finally, Ulrico was really a great host, and responded quickly to our questions and requests. The villa is a 10 out of 10!Two apps you should download before going:WhatsApp - this was the best way to communicate with Ulrico, Carmela, and Anthony.Ferryhopper - this app is great for buying tickets and checking schedules for ferry’s from various towns. Very useful.

This is the most amazing property that we, two families totaling a group of seven people stayed for our two and a half week trip to Europe. We stayed in nine different properties and this is one of the best properties we stayed in by far. The kitchen and the wood burning grill along with the outdoor dining is set up perfectly for making a lovely family meal! The upper deck is prefect for a morning coffee overlooking the sea. The pool is the piece de resistance for everyone involved. We arrived and the temperature outside was cold but the pool was heated to perfection. Communication, check in and check out was a breeze. Anyone even thinking about staying here please do. We would have requested the meal prep but our husbands love to cook so they prepared a fantastic family meal in the lovely kitchen and on the wood fire grill!

View was exceptional. Property was in excellent shape. All necessary provisions provided. Bedrooms and bed very comfortable and location perfect. We highly recommend

This villa is absolutely stunning! Even more beautiful in person. I only wish we had more time to just relax at the villa. We opted for a home cooked meal one night and it was one of our favorite meals in all of our stops in Italy, plus we didn’t have to dress for dinner.We are so very happy we connected with Anthony to drive us around. He is absolutely amazing and a very safe driver. We found it way too dangerous to walk to the bus stop so Anthony took us everywhere.Caterina and Rosario are so delightful as well as Pepe and Raphaelo (the outdoor cats).I highly recommend this villa and pray we get to return soon.

We had a big family group and the accommodations were perfect for us. It was the end of winter and we did not get to enjoy some of the summer activities but we still had a wonderful time hiking around the property and taking in the unbelievable views. Little coastal towns were close by and without all the summer traffic we could park, shop and enjoy the local cuisine. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. It really personifies the wonderful Amalfi coast. Our hosts were kind and responded to any of our needs. Highly recommend.

I spent over a year planning for my 60th and this Villa was the first to pop up during my search and even though I looked for a few months I always came back to this Oasis! Everything was wonderfully handled from my first email to Ulrico (owner) to book, through extending my stay a few weeks ahead of my visit. The property is secluded with breathtaking views! I chose the room off the main house (15 steps from my door to front door) so, I could view the tower and beautiful landscape when I woke up. The pool and views from the pool especially at night are breathtaking and just extremely relaxing. We walked to Maiori daily along the Amalfi Hwy- to grab a ferry, champagne runs, etc.. It's not scary at all and we love to walk. So many folks do this that you just need to keep an eye on things. I suggest the bus or Anthony (Taxi) to come up;-) The Tower Normanna was one of our favorite places and experiences. The service is incredible and you'll pass it on the way into Maiori. If nothing else, order a bottle of champagne or wine or both and enjoy the rooftop view or dining level outdoor seating. We hiked from the Villa to and along the Lemon Trail to Ravello (2 went all the way up) it's tough! Enjoy the Villa and a dinner from Carmen on the memorable outdoor terrace!

The Villa and its surroundings are nothing short of idyllic. The listing is accurate, but nothing compared to the real-life experience. Rooms and beds well accommodated our family of 7 adults. There are so many places to sneak away to explore or meditate. Several of the guys braved the sea entry below the villa, but a few of us just enjoyed the adventure and the beautiful view. Carmela, Caterina and Rosaria were charming, and full of life. They cooked for us 2 nights and it was hands down the best food we had during our weeklong stay in Maiori. Take my advice and don't eat all day if the ladies are preparing dinner for you, and expect to roll away from the table, full and happy. This was the perfect way to spend a week on the Amalfi coast.

We loved our stay. You will need a car or driver. We opted with Anthony a recommended driver. He was great. Air conditioning worked well. The patio was our hangout with THAT view. Fantastic. The pool is down the other side of the property which worked fine. Again. THAT view! Amazing. The pool was heated and huge!! We loved it. Beds to some may be considered hard. The small bedroom with galley beds I personally wouldn’t count on. But perhaps perfect for some moody teens only. Still highly recommend. We know comparatively it is a deal! Staff was friendly and attentive. The walks to the lookout or Grotto are only for the fit! We did it though. The Grotto rope to pull yourself out is difficult but worth it!

We had a fantastic week in Villa Calcara. The house was amazing. We used the chef service and the food was delicious.

We spent a week at the villa this September. 8 adults 25-35 years old and 4 adults 50-65 years old. The property is amazing, we enjoyed the pool multiple times each day and made two trips to the grotto to swim. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the views each night. Rosaria and Caterina were extremely helpful all week, always going above and beyond to accommodate us. Ulricco gave amazing recommendations and constantly kept in touch which made planning a breeze. We were married on the rooftop terrace and it went perfectly thanks to everyone’s help. Anthony our taxi driver was the absolute best. We spoke every day whether it was booking rides or him making suggestions and reservations for us. He even had pizzas delivered to us the first night because we were so exhausted from traveling and took us grocery shopping the next day. The location was great as it is out of the busy areas but you do need a ride to do anything. We enjoyed the town of Maiori and visiting the center every day. It has many shops, restaurants and the ferry port. I highly recommend staying at this property, we will be back one day!

We all had an amazing time! The villa is charming, and we love the view, pool, and tranquility it offered! Carmela (cook), Caterina (housekeeping), and Anthony (White Taxi driver) were extremely kind, hospitable, and helpful! Carmela’s meals were delicious, and we really enjoyed her and her help’s company, despite the language barrier. I loved meeting Carmela’s husband one early morning when he offered my daughter and I fresh figs. I enjoyed watching him tend to the tomatoes and figs in the garden and dry them on the terrace. I appreciate and love the simplicity of life here in Maiori. Caterina, looking exactly like her father, was so courteous and helpful. It is nice to learn about her children, especially since they are the same age as my niece and daughter, 11 and 8-years old, respectively. Anthony is a kindred spirit! He is sincere and genuine. He proactively reached out to me and arranged our logistics prior to our arrival to the Coast and provided great recommendations during our stay. He goes out of his way to arrange great experiences for us! We are so fortunate to learn about him and his family. We are thrilled for the arrival of his new family member in December! We will miss the Coast, but most of all, we will miss our hosts and hostesses here! Everyone really made a great effort to make us feel at home.

We loved the week we spent in this lovely place. The pool was such a relief as it was very hot while we were there. We were in good proximity to shopping and restaurants (by car or taxi). The hosts were very responsive and considerate. We had 2 meals prepared for us there by Carmela that were so delicious and memorable. Town was so busy, as was the beach, so it was lovely to return to a peaceful oasis away from the crowds. The rooftop terrace was a great place to sit and look at the moon and enjoy the evening breeze. My daughters and granddaughter loved the outdoor cat, Pepe, and wanted to take him home. Thank you to Carmela, Catarina, Rosaria, and the sweet lady that helped Carmela with serving the meal, sorry I can't remember her name. We dream of coming back.

Positives-view, setting, pool, air-conditioning all great housekeepers/cooks did an excellent job. we did breakfast every morning & they cooked for us 2 evenings-they were very friendly too. Internet unreliable & downstairs bed & bath needs updated, some mattresses need replaced.

We came for a wedding with both families staying at the villa. The setting is gorgeous and the pool is unbelievable (the whole group spent time in the pool every day). The villa is fantastic with great views and all the amenities. The internet connectivity was a bit shaky and we did trip the power several times but the overall experience was excellent.
