Stayed Jul 16, 2025This is such a beautiful villa set in a great location with just a short drive to a variety of beaches and small towns and a decent supermarket. The villa itself has beautiful sea views and is incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The main pool is amazing- the best villa pool we have ever had because it is such a decent size for swimming in. The beds are comfy, the fly nets on all the doors and windows were brilliant and everything worked. The villa is really spacious with lots of outdoor seating areas. Three bedrooms are downstairs and the main bedroom with en-suite is upstairs. The villa has a spiral staircase which wasn’t a problem for us at all. We had such a fun two weeks here. We visited Methoni, Finikounda and the Polylimnio waterfalls which were beautiful and great for swimming in. Our highlight was hiring our own boat from Pylos and spending a day exploring and jumping off the boat into the sea. The waters are so incredibly blue. A trip to Voidokilia beach is a must especially for sunset. Can’t wait to come back.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024In 30 years of travelling to Greece and other Mediterranean countries, I cannot recall a villa as well equipped as this one. Kitchen and dining area were fabulous (even with a manual, the cooker was a bit of a nightmare, but no big deal). Best equipped we've ever had, and the larger/fridge with ice maker was fantastic! Bedrooms were extremely comfortable. It would have been useful to be aware of the spiral staircase beforehand, as one of our party was unable to manage it, but again, this was manageable. The pool was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely the best we've had! Particularly enjoyed the local restaurant, which was a five minute walk. Greek rustic, country cooking at it's best. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Stayed Aug 22, 2023This place is heaven on earth! So luxurious and a treat to stay for a week. We loved the different areas around the villa, the space, the pools, the bbq, sitting in the outdoor areas, the help from Tassos! The villa has everything you need - we felt so spoilt - the pictures do not show you how wonderful it is! We loved exploring the local beaches, tavernas and enjoyed a boat trip from Methoni and a sunset at Navarino Castle. Finikounda is stunning and such a fantastic place in the evening and 5 mins along the coast from there a quiet, secret bay! The sea was amazing to swim in and yet to be at the villa was just as fantastic! An incredible holiday. Thank you both for allowing us to stay! WE LOVED IT!

Stayed Jul 2, 2022Thank you to Joke and Joanna for a beautiful stay in the Peloponnese. The house was beautifully appointed, well equipped, and lovingly landscaped with beautiful flowers, trees, and plants. The property is ideally located on a hill in the village of Kamaria with a beautiful view of the ocean and Finikouda. Strong A/C in the bedrooms was appreciated in the heat of the Greek summer. We all loved the pool for refreshing dips throughout the day and into the night. Joke and Joanna were gracious hosts who were accommodating and communicative. Their colleague Tassos in Kamaria was very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful and idyllic three-generation family vacation and look forward to visiting the villa again in the future. Highly recommended!

Stayed Aug 18, 2021The villa was excellent. All four bedrooms were air conditioned with comfortable beds. Bathrooms very clean with dual shower heads. The kitchen was very well equipped - huge fridge-freezer with ice maker and cold water dispenser. Lots of gadgets (electric juicer; sandwich toaster, coffee maker etc). The filtered water tap was great for refilling bottles - less plastic waste! We loved the big sofa and the TV had channels in many languages including English and we were also able to sign in to our Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts on it. Wifi excellent - no complaints at all from our teenagers! There is loads of outside space. We enjoyed looking out to sea from the balcony and looking at the amazing night sky. The swinging hammock seats were fun. Best of all was the pool which was a good depth and twice the size of those in other villas we've rented. The track to the villa is very steep and a bit stony but we got used to it quickly and our hire car coped with it fine. There is a taverna within a 5 minute walk (Apolafsy) which served tasty, good value food. Plenty of other tavernas within a 5-10 minute drive. A good choice of local beaches - our favourite was Lampes Beach. We also did some nice day trips/half-day trips to Methoni, Koroni, Pylos, Gialova/Voidokilia, Polilimnio waterfall and Ancient Messene. We would highly recommend this villa.

Stayed Jul 31, 2021We had a wonderful stay in Villa Itia. The location is excellent, with great views and a lovely taverna within 3 minutes walking distance. The Villa itself is very comfortable and well equipped for a relaxing holiday. The swimming pool is large. The air con worked well which was important as it was extremely hot during our stay. Finikounda and Methoni are very close by.

Stayed Jul 22, 2019Great sea views from quiet hilltop location. Only 5 minute drive from main road. Kitchen is well equipped. Pool is huge. Taverna within walking distance. Surrounded by beautiful beaches and attractions. The southwest Peloponnese has become one of my favourite spots in all of Greece. The only disappointment with the house was the aircon unit in the upstairs lounge area did not function and one of the downstairs bedrooms did not have an AC unit at all. However the owner/ manager responded quickly with a second fan for us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The photos don't show how lovely this villa actually is, very well appointed, large pool, plenty of outdoor seating, comfy bedrooms, great bathrooms, everything you'd need for relaxing break. Both local towns have many good restaurants, beaches are sandy, lots to do and see within 30km. Thoroughly recommend.
