Luxury villa with pool and spectacular sea views, 7 terraces, close to the beach

The views were spectacular from every room , the villa was clean minimalist had most everything we needed. The reason we marked it lower was the pool was smaller than we were advised by the owner , it wasn’t as clean either, air conditioning wasn’t throughout , only in the bedrooms which wasn’t specified ,you had to use a car to travel to restaurants even though said 5 mins on the details - it didn’t specify by car , we thought it was walking distance - it’s a long steep hill and in the heat would have been difficult to walk , approx 35/40 mins to the very closest restaurant . Just a thought too , a folder with details on where to put rubbish , areas to visit, more details on local area would have been useful . We were told too by Vrbo that we’d be contacted 3 days beforehand with the villa details / how to get in etc, directions , we weren’t and I had to chase up which didn’t seem a good start . That said it was a peaceful villa with spectacular views and we did enjoy our stay , just when you’re choosing your holiday villa, you do rely on the details so you can make an informed choice.

We had a fantastic time in Casa Geniol. The views are gorgeous, and sunrise provides magical light throughout the whole villa. Communication with the owner Christian was excellent, and Marijke was an great host accommodating our desired check-in and check-out times. The gardener and handyman Enrique was also super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. The villa is very spacious, much bigger than the pictures suggest. We were just with three people but think it would still feel very spacious if you’d stay with 8. The villa was super clean, with a modern kitchen that has everything you can think of. There’s several terraces offering sun or shade, all with gorgeous views. The neighborhood is quiet, and a short walk will get you to the beach in La Herradura, which we found to be a lovely relaxed beach town. Also several great hiking opportunities close-by. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Casa Geniol was a beautiful home for our family get away. Easily accommodated our family of 7. The views from the various decks were expansive and peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly sized and allowed for towels, toiletries, and general “stuff” people travel with. The property manager Crees was helpful and kind, the kitchen was well equipped and allowed for our many meals prepared in the house. The pool was a big hit for adults and children. Many stairs so that could be a hindrance for older or very young guests. Our 3 year old grand daughter loved keeping up with her 6 and 8 year old siblings so not an issue for us! All in all a wonderful and peaceful vacation, we were close to beaches but happy to be at the house. Perfect!

We just stayed one week at this fabulous house overlooking the Mediterranean. The house is exactly as pictured and described on the website and has everything one could want in the way of amenities. The views from the house and the many decks of the house are truly spectacular. In addition, Christian and the local property manager, Cees, were very responsive to our questions and also were available during our stay to insure that all went well with our stay. This was truly an exceptional experience.

What an amazing, relaxing and memorable two weeks we just spent at your gorgeous home. This home has everything you need for your stay. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to such views. We spent much of our vacation relaxing by and enjoying the pool. Between the rental process going smoothly and the answering of questions throughout the stay, Christian made this a wonderful experience. We will be back!

A gorgeous house with stunning views, we loved our 2 week stay here, the Villa is decorated in a minimalistic way with lovely photos, a soothing backdrop. We are in international family and my teen children flew in from 3 continents so it was important for us to all have family time together. The villa is not really little child friendly with loads of steps and an unfenced pool, it could be a challenge for an older person who is not used to walking up and down stairs either but for us it was perfect. The only small problem we had was the entertainment system, the television is quite an old model, my daughter had her movie collection on an external harddrive and sadly this was not at all compatible to the older type model of TV in the Villa, also the satellite TV has only a couple of english channels. The chef in our party was quite happy with the kitchen facilities and we loved eating out on the terrace, there was a small charcoal BBQ that was adequate. The location needs a car, and we found the drive from Malaga airport to be really easy...we enjoyed La Herradura very much and I am sure we will return.

We were just flattered by this house. Directly above the sea, a wonderful house, very special, modern and clean. The owner was very charming and friendly with a very good taste. You can see the ocean from every room of the house, it is a perfect place to escape from winter in Uk. Hopefully we can come back one day. Andrew M.

This was a perfect holiday! I was traveling with my wife and 2 other parties and we had just a wonderful time in Casa Geniol. The location is breathtaking, the view and the charm of the house excites. The villa is very luxurious and from the first moment on, You can feel the devotion of the owner to make something special. Very modern and spectacular architecture, very subtle interior-style. Nothing was missing, we really loved it very much. The contact with the owner and the people who take care about the house is excellent, the prices reasonable. We can absolutely recommend this house!! and hope to come back soon. Peter.
