Stayed Jan 30, 2025House was nice and host was very helpful. The communal space was perfect for a big group of friends. We had a great time ! Enough space for 3 cars. Felt safe with gate and alarm system, as well as security regularly passing the house.

Stayed Jul 9, 2018This house was way better in person than in the photos. Absolutely loved it! The whole house was very stylishly decorated and all the beds super comfortable. There were 10 of us staying and at times we had more family visiting us and at no point did we feel overcrowded . The upstairs kitchen, dining room, family room with the spectacular view was so lovely to entertain in and just relax in. Appreciated having a housekeeper 3 times a week so we could have a real vacation from cleaning. We hope this beautiful home will be available for us to rent when we are back in Hout Bay..

Stayed Apr 11, 2017The overall view in the house is amazing, the garden, the pool and the terraces are beautiful. Hout Bay is a perfect town to stay. We would like to come back soon !!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Absolutely fabulous villa with a real wow factor. Easy communications from start to finish. Our welcome was warm and very professional. The villa itself is amazing and very safe. Electronic gate and garage door is very convenient and operated remotely. The Villa is very modern with every possible mod con including coffee maker, central music system playing music in ever room (volume controls in each room), Dumb Waiter to carry the shopping onto first floor kitchen, Rain shower, fantastic BBQ area, pool etc etc. Everything was spotless and in perfect condition. The gardens are gorgeous and a real credit to the gardener, (sorry forgotten his name). The pool was the only disappointment as it stated heated but turned out that there was a problem which was to be fixed. We were lucky with the warm weather so a cold pool was quite welcome! Couldn't recommend Hout Bay Villa enough, so quiet but yet very convenient to Cape Town, Camps Bay, The Cape etc. We also enjoyed Hout Bay with the beautiful bay, harbour, bars and shops. God willing we hope to stay again. thank you Alex and Cheryl.
