LUXURY VILLA RETREAT w/ROOF DECK, POOL, SPA, SEATED FIRE-PIT, PANORAMIC VIEWS

We were a family of 4 from the UK touring California for 3 weeks and we wanted a week of total relaxation. The house was just perfect and proved to be such a sanctuary that we didn't want to leave it during the day! When we did we didn't venture much beyond the locality (Birdrock) which we were totally charmed by. Yes, La Jolla itself is lovely but Birdrock provided us with the laid-back Californian charm that we were looking for. We became locals at the Coffee Roastery, Beaumont's, The Fishery and Oscar's Seafood (looks like nothing from the outside but serves the best Ceviche I have ever tasted). Cherie was a charming and personable host and we really appreciated her thoughtfulness by providing us with English Teabags, milk/drinks etc. We would love to return one day.

This home is simply stunning. It is beautifully laid out around a central pool and courtyard with incredible attention to detail. We are an Australian / American family of 5 visiting San Diego to catch up with family and loved our stay here. Our host graciously showed us around her home and even provided us with a great gift basket to ease our arrival after such a long flight. I cannot recommend this home enough as a luxurious way of enjoying La Jolla and San Diego more generally. We'll be back!

We decided to rent this place in San Diego to celebrate Valentine's with a group of friends from Mexico. My first request was a good Kitchen because I am a chef and wanted to impress my guests. I saw the pictures of this property and they looked so beautiful, but the reality of this house is beyond my expectations....I was fascinated with everything...! The perfect chef's Kitchen, perfect speaces, beautiful decoration, the pool, the view, the bedrooms....Un paraíso!! we had the best celebration ever! I can't wait to find another excuse and do it again..!!! Thank you!!!!!!

OMG! I couldn't resist to recomend this property. it is so beautiful , the perfect house.The Thai style decoration , very zen...The kind of place where you can feel good energy and peace... Nice spaces, beautiful furniture, and all those little details that make this place so special. ..Perfect view, and excellent location. Everything was so clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the outdoors, it was like visiting the trópics. Even though we were a group of eight, the place felt very spacious. Looking forward to come back next year!

Our stay was so relaxing and the extended family from Europe properly enjoyed constantly discovering all the amenities of this beautiful home. The views were just as stunning as the oriental & tropical features found around every turn providing many private, cosy areas as well as open places to gather. We took turns using the gourmet kitchen which was a delight and opens out to the interior pool area that became our sanctuary. The host was quick to get back to us and had great advice on local activities in the area and those downtown that was only minutes away. All too soon we had to leave, but I know we'll always dream of coming back to share more memories.

The views are pretty amazing. You can see the Mexican islands, a long stretch of the Pacific, San Diego Bay and downtown. And the home is very private as well, with a tropical setting for the pool, spa, firepit, and a few sitting areas. The house is large, intricate, with exceptional architectural detail. Truly a luxury estate. Stores and restaurants were about 1-2 minutes down the hill and La Jolla Village was a short ride away.

My family and I were so fortunate to find this home. What an oasis! The property is beautiful wrapped around a pool to create a very secluded feel. The master bedroom has stairs that descend right into the water! A quick drive from the beach, I would highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

This luxury home is stunning and so beautifully designed., with so many unique Asian treasures! It is such a serene home with so many different areas to enjoy -- relaxing, swimming, entertaining! The views from inside the front rooms of the home and the upper deck are gorgeous! The owner left unexpected extras to help us enjoy our stay and immediately responded to our questions or concerns while staying there. We stayed with extended family and it was great to all be together in so many common areas but then also have our own space.

A perfect stay in a perfect location. Views were unbelievable. You could see Mexico on a clear day. The location was great. Easy access to the beach areas, restauarant, shopping,etc.This house had everything we needed. A very open design with perfect natural light in all the important places. We did some entertaining. The Chef kitchen was perfect great layout and design. The patio and pool area was stunning and great entertaining area. Beds were super comfortable. This house even had a cinema room. We will be back next year!
