We were a family of seven staying at the Luxury Villa in the Sorrento Coast. The location is ideal if you want to explore the towns along the Amalfi Coast. Giuseppe is a great host and is very available when needed. The Villa is just like the pictures no surprises. The sunroom was the best, a great place to gather as a family I’m the evenings after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay there again.

House was not clean. Dishes and glassware needed to be washed before using. When walking inside the house in socks the bottoms got dirty quickly. The electric flickered throughout our stay. And worst of all the hot water would not last for one complete shower. The host sent the maintainer who supposedly adjusted the boiler temperature but the problem persisted through our entire stay. Very disappointed in this rental. But it looked good in the pics. Host committed to refund a nights stay for the inconvenience and now has ghosted me and now that VRBO is involved he said he never committed to that but I’ve provided the correspondence where he did. We’ll if he stands by his commitment.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Spartano. It’s so spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom! The garden is beautiful! Our host Giuseppe was great at getting back any queries we had. We did have a problem with the WiFi which was fixed by an engineer but we didn’t manage to log in due to password issues. I’m sure if we reached out to Giuseppe this would have been resolved but we were busy on day trips with the family so didn’t actually spend much time at the villa. The pool was a nice little touch. I didn’t use it as it wasn’t warm enough for me at the end of September but the kids used it a couple of times. The village of Sant’Agata is lovely, with lots of bars and restaurants. The people are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. We hired a car as we were unsure whether public transport would be reliable but once we figured out how the buses worked we were able to get to and from Sorrento very easily. I’d recommend this over taking a taxi every time. Taxis in this part of the world are extortionate! We’d love to come back at some point in the future.

We wish we had more time in the local area to explore. We did have dinner one night and it was fabulous. We had something planned daily so we were on the move. The villa was extremely comfortable and saved slot of money staying outside of Sorrento city centre even getting daily transportation to all our planned adventures. I would highly recommend this property.

The house is on a hill near a village. You need a car. You can walk to the village downhill there and uphill back. Just a few minutes. The house was lovely and the owner was easy to communicate with and met us on arrival.

The property was superb. The garden brilliant for those quiet afternoons and evenings. 15/20 minutes to Sorrento, 30 minutes to Positano, 60 minutes to Amalfi and 60 minutes to Pompeii. The local town Sant’Agata has plenty of food shopping and a range of restaurants from the cheap to the 1/2 star Michelin. Truly enjoyed the place.

The house was stunning ,very tastefully decorated throughout. Bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were for the most part good, a few issues more due to age of property than anything to complain about. One of the bathrooms though for one of the bedrooms was on a different floor...may be an issue for some....not for us. Lots of sitting areas for peace and quiet or for group activities. Our only problem was because we had a large group and entertained other friends who were staying in the area for a couple of nights, the kitchen is quite small and the stove top was finicky....also the oven was complete guesswork....all the numbers and lettering had long disapeared.Pool was as advertised...small...again not an issue for us. Grounds were beautiful, many sitting and lounging areas. St Agata is a lovely little town with all amenities, shops, restaurants, a mid size supermarket,Mini markets, bakeries, butchers, etc. At the bottom of the hill ( a five minute walk) is the bus stop for Sorrento....a must see. Also buses run to Amalfi and Positano. Tickets can be purchased from tourist info. From Sorrento you can get the train to anywhere else. Pompeii, Naples, etc. We had a fabulous time here...people are very friendly and helpful....the little store at the bottom of the road would close his shop and run us home for a small fee if we overbought wine and beer....a regular occurrence! This home was our base for two weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Great location if you do not mind taking bus and doing a little walking. Easy access to Sorrento. If going to Positano take the ferry from Sorrento; the bus ride is long to Positano and can easily cause motion sickness. The best part of the trip was hiking down to free beach at Fiordo di Crapolla. You must be fit to do it but the rewards at the bottom, chrystal clear water, high cliffs and lots of sea glass and very few people make it worth the trip.

The villa is beautiful and was plenty of space for my family! The outdoor area was nice for evening and the pool was refreshing during the day. Guiseppe was very attentive to all my questions ahead of time and we enjoyed many of his recommendations for places to eat in town. The only issues we had were with the hot water for showers, the gas was out and he right away had the company come to fill it but we still had issues. The only other thing to know is the beds are very firm. The kitchen was well supplied with coffee and more than enough supplies to accommodate a big group. We did love the patio area which is what drew me to this home initially. Keep in mind, the best way to get to the villa, without a car is by taxi which is about 15 minutes. Guiseppe was great to call us a taxi when we needed it! Wi-Fi worked great there too.
