Luxury villa by the sea with private pool, terrace and sea view

Ideal property for a holiday away from it all with super outdoor areas and a magnificent view of the sea. The house is well equipped and the owner, Emanuel, is extremely kind.

The house is in a rural location and the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking. If you want to relax in peaceful surroundings, this is the place for you! Inside the house, the décor and furniture are traditional but there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very effective, ensuring we slept well despite the high humidity. Furthermore, the kitchen is very well equipped and there are three bathrooms, each with a shower, which is incredibly convenient if you're staying as a larger group. We also found the house to be very clean throughout. The terrace and pool area are a real bonus. There's plenty of space and we spent a lot of time outside, making the most of the weather. Without a doubt, the terrace and pool area are the perfect place to spend your time.Our host, Emanuel, was communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him and he was genuinely interested in our stay at his house. It really was a pleasure to meet him. If you're looking for a comfortable house in a rural Madeiran setting, my friends and I would recommend it without hesitation. For the price, you needn’t look any further!

Lovely property, set in peaceful and lush environment. The views from the property and the sunsets are fantastic.The only ‘downside’ is that there are no restaurants within reasonable walking distance but if you want the peaceful location then this is to be expected.Overall great place

My husband and I stayed at this lovely villa to celebrate our anniversary. The villa is a gem of a home. The views out over the sea are splendid. We spent a lot of time outdoors on the terrace and cooking in the brilliant outdoor kitchen (which we loved). We also swam in the pool every day and the loungers are a great place to relax. The gardens are wonderful with mature trees and shrubs. The setting is very peaceful and we loved coming back to the serenity of the villa. We spent more time there than we thought that we would just because it is so nice. The villa itself is spacious, clean and well equipped with great views from every room. The beds are very comfortable and the en-suite showers are powerful and hot. Emanuel is a very kind and helpful host. We arrived very late in the night and Emanuel had left us some lovely gifts for our anniversary. We met him later in the week and he is very friendly and a lovely man. Communication was great. He couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.Would definitely recommend this villa and we would love to stay again on another visit to Madeira.

This is the place to stay if you like fantastic views across the sea with the most superb sunsets.! The villa is situated in the most wonderful spot , very quiet and not overlooked and stands in immense gardens. The swimming pool is great for a cool off. The villa has everything you need and communication with Emanuel is excellent. A car is a necessity though to reach the supermarkets and restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for somewhere away from the madding crowds and love being outside. We will be returning for sure.

Great location, lovely villa, friendly village, ideal for the local walks.

We really enjoyed Emanuel's place. It came just as advertised. We were looking for a more remote of a location away from any hustle and bustle. It was closer to many great levada walks and that was a major plus!!

Words almost can't express how much we enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful place. Everything was clean and well equipped and the rooms were very cozy. We liked it so much that it was hard to leave the house for excursions. But sometimes we managed it and e.g. did a walk from the house to a nice Café (Panoeste) uphill what we can recommend. And we want to mention Emanuel, he was a perfect host and always a great source of information. We miss the view already and regret that we were staying just for one week but we'll be back someday for sure.

The property is approximately 350 metres above the Atlantic Ocean and bathed in sunshine from dawn to dusk. A delightful mix of old-world house character, with mature gardens and a modern pool complex, awaits your visit. A quiet neighbourhood but close enough to the main highway to reach Calheta in 20 minutes. Emmanuel personally welcomed us with the keys and I can't wait to revisit 2022 when the flowers are at their best. Madeira what an island... Richard & Heather Harvey

Great Villa - brilliant views, very private and tranquil. Ideal property to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. Throughly enjoyed our weeks stay - just wished we had booked for two.
