Luxury villa and the winery Benvenuti are the key condiments for your holidays

My wife and I stayed here in May for 4 nights. All the positive reviews were right on the money. This place is awesome. As great as the pictures are, the house is even better when seen in person. There were 2 bottles of wine in the frig from the vineyard when we arrived. Both were very good but the rosa was outstanding. The vegetable/fruit garden was available to us to use although only lettuce was up when we were there. The house is a very relaxing place to return to after visiting mountain towns. We ended up eating dinner most nights around the pool. You cannot go wrong by renting this house. A special thanks to Suzana. We had an excellent wine tasting with her.

For years we are renting houses in central Istria. Villa Benvenuti was the best location we have chosen so far. Albert, Nicola & his team are the best hosts! Beside that they make the best Istrian vine!!!

When we arrived at the Benvenuti Villa we were really surprised because all our expectations were exceeded. The villa , a very stylish renovated old house, the rooms bright and clean and the owners welcomed us in a warm and friendly way. The kitchen was well equipped, the pool had heated and clean water. really everything was perfect. For dinner Mr. Albert recommended a restaurant not far away which we visited several times for excellent food. We loved to stay there and had some relaxing days in Villa Benvenuti and we can recommend to everybody who want to stay away from tourist crowds We will gladly come again

We recently stayed at the Benvenuti Villa and cannot give it high enough praise. The villa has recently been renovated and the quality of the renovation is to a very high standard. The layout is great for a group of people with three bedrooms, and several sitting areas (two inside and one outside). The villa was extremely clean and well maintained. The vegetable garden is a great asset with the hosts encouraging you to pick any fresh vegetables and fruit you require. Little touches like complimentary bottles of Benvenuti wine and cakes and biscuits made by the owners mother were appreciated. The town of Kaldir only has about 70 people residing there so you feel like a part of the community with friendly locals always ready to wave and say hello. The villa is only a ten minute drive to Motovun and the hosts provide an extensive list of nearby restaurants. We used the villa as a base to explore the Istrian Region and found it very centrally located. Aside from the gorgeous villa, we found the hosts really made this holiday extra special. Albert gave us the grand tour of the villa, and we spent a wonderful afternoon doing a wine tasting on the property with Suzana and Nikola which was a highlight for us. Suzana rates a special mention as she went above and beyond the call of duty and was so lovely to deal with - a great asset to the family business. We highly recommend staying in this villa.

we spent 10 wonderful days at the villa of albert and nicola benvenuti. the villa is situated in the small and quiet village kaldir. the owners and their relatives were perfect hosts. at the first evening they offered us a delicious croatian cake and white wine of their vineyard. besides albert reacted to all of our special wishes. the villa is well designed and a perfect place for families. our kids spent the whole time in and around the pool and had a lot of fun. the equipment is high-class. the villa was super clean with big bedrooms, big kitchen and living room with a extra-room for watching television. the vegetable garden near the villa was brilliant – every day we had fresh fruits and vegetables for cooking and bbq. besides in the surrounding country there are many restaurants for gourmets. last but not least the wine testing of the benvenuti wines was a special highlight of our hosts. thank you!

I would highly recommend staying at the Benvenuti villa in Kaldir. It's rural location allows you to feel part of the local community, the décor and fittings are of a very high standard which makes it a special place to stay. Albert and his family live nearby and are attentive and were excellent hosts - helping us understand what the locality had to offer. The free wine tasting session was extremely enjoyable even for our 3 kids who were catered for with other delicacies ! The opportunity to pick fresh fruit and vegetables for your table from his gardens was amazing and a unique and generous addition to the holiday. The surrounding countryside and views of Motovun are breathtaking and with it being only 20-45 minutes by car away from the major Istrian coastal resorts of Novigrad, Umag, Vrsar & Rovinj- you are able to get the best of both worlds. We would definitely like to return - it was a fabulous and very relaxing holiday .
