Luxury Family Villa With Private Heated Pool

This is the second time we have stayed at this villa, the last having been in 2015! It was just as we remembered it. The pool and outside area is easily the best bit. It’s a great size pool, comfy and generally a great place to unwind in. The villa was spotlessly clean and also very well equipped for our stay, especially in the kitchen. The area in which the Villa is located is great for the beach and amenities generally. We hired a car so we could go further afield to explore and also access the larger supermarkets. We would happily return and will try not to leave it 11 years before doing so!

Richard was a responsive and friendly host. The villa is in a nice location. Sadly the pool was very cold during our stay, even though we put the cover on every night. The villa is quite old and in need of a refurb, or at the very least, a deep clean as it smelled fusty and damp in the bedrooms and bathrooms with visible mould in a number of rooms. Perhaps because there’s no aircon. The kitchen also was grimy, including the tiles, extractor and pans etc. But overall, it’s a nice place with plenty of space and is well equipped. Nice touches were the welcome pack, books, games, condiments, tea, coffee, hand soap, detergents etc. The garden is beautiful and the sunbeds and outdoor furniture were great. Thank you

We have had a fantastic week in a beautiful villa - quiet location, short 5 min walk to Playa Flamingo. Comfy beds, heated pool, great view of the volcano. Richard was a great host too, sorting out a minor problem in a couple of hours. We will definitely be back!

Villa was lovely.

We stayed here as a family of 6, including our 2 year old daughter and it was perfect for us. The check in was so simple, and the property was exactly like the pictures and very clean. We absolutely loved the pool, the outside seating area and the bbq area. We spent so much time outside and it was so peaceful and very well equipped. Inside the property it had everything we could need. The villa was just a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants (10 minutes) and we also enjoyed a day at the aqua park, which our daughter absolutely loved - even me and another family member had a blast on the adult slides. Richard was so communicative, even with basic questions I had, he was brilliant. All in all, would 100% recommend this villa, we had a superb holiday.

Host Richard was easy to communicate with and flexible

We stayed at this villa in Playa Blanca for 10 nights and it was absolutely perfect for our family of five (children aged 11 to 17). The villa was spacious, spotless on arrival, and had everything we needed. The pool was ideal and well maintained. The cleaners came halfway through our stay and did an excellent job. Richard, the host, was brilliant with communication both before and during our stay, making everything easy and stress free. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Playa Flamingo, our favourite beach! We’ll definitely look to stay here again!

The outside space and pool area are excellent, much larger pool than I expected, with comfortable 'sofa' and table/chairs. Pool man, gardener and cleaners all came during our time at the villa, so everything clean and well looked after. Easy walk to Flamengo beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. There were a couple of hick ups at the beginning of our holiday but these were promptly sorted out (even though it was a Sunday). We would definitely book again.

Great villa, perfect for friends, easy to get around the area as cabs were so quick and cheap.The pool was perfect for a proper swim or just lazing in.Will love to come again

We had a lovely stay at the Villa. It was extremely comfortable with good bedding and linen.The pool area was private and very welcome and we ate all meals outside on the terrace. The local area is lovely and just a short work gets you to the beach, the shops and restaurants. Communication with Richard the owner was excellent and we would like to think him for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful holiday staying at this beautiful villa with our adult children and their partner's. From the moment we booked, Richard, the host, was outstanding with his communication. Having never stayed in a villa before, I had plenty of questions, and he was always on hand to help – even checking in with us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch.The villa itself was spotless and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The welcome hamper was such a thoughtful and appreciated bonus! The kitchen had all the essentials, and the BBQ was fantastic – we used it a coupe of times during our stay.The beds were very comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot, and the whole villa felt like a real home-from-home. The pool was beautifully maintained, and the garden was immaculate. We especially loved the fact that it was south-facing, giving us sunshine all day, with the added benefit of a shaded veranda area for when we needed a break from the sun.The location was ideal – just a 10-minute stroll to Flamingo Beach and a lovely walk into Playa Blanca along the seafront. Quiet, peaceful, and perfectly positioned.We truly couldn’t have asked for more. This villa ticked every box, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend – you will not be disappointed.

Casa Amatris is a fantastic villa which is situated in a prime location in Playa Blanca. It was only a short walk to Playa Flamingo beach, shops and restaurants. Our stay was absolutely perfect, and the villa exceeded all of our requirements for our family. The villa is very clean and welcoming with lots of space. The pool was brilliant and kept at a lovely temperature, our young kids (ages 7 & 4) loved every second playing in it. The villa included all the amenities required to aid the prefect stay and communication with the host was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Amatris and would book again next time we visit Playa Blanca.

The Apartment was lovely pool was great . We used the local bus to get around or you could walk though if preferred. Owner very nice to deal with

Despite the variable weather, an enjoyable stay. The heated pool was particularly welcome.

We had THE most amazing week at Casa Amatris! All the home from home comforts you need when self catering, but the highlight has to be the heated pool and surrounding sun terrace that was a real sun trap.Perfect location with a flat 6 minute walk to Flamingo beach where there’s a good selection of restaurants and bars, and only 2 minutes to Aqualand waterpark if you need to entertain active children for the day on water slides. The welcome pack of drinks and snacks was very thoughtful and the host Richard checked-in with us shortly after our arrival to make sure we were comfortable.The downside: the mosquitoes were in abundance this year and even though the Villa has plug-in repellents in all rooms, you definitely need to apply mosi repellent cream or spray.Secondly (and not an issue for us so we didn’t report to the host to resolve) but the TV wouldn’t scan the terrestrial English channels BUT did offer Netflix and Amazon Prime.We highly recommend this Villa and will definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay at the Villa. It was perfect for our family, plenty of space and a lovely pool. 10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants at Playa Flamingo and just 2 minutes from the waterpark. Highly recommend this Villa and would definitely stay again

Villa had everything needed for a relaxing stay by the beach. Was great to swim in the pool every day (my son did cut his foot on something sharp in the pool presumably left by previous guests). It was a nice touch to have some oil and spices available for cooking. Wound recommend.

We’ve stayed at casa amatris a few time

We’ve just spent a very relaxing week at Casa Amatris. Great location, just 10 min walk to bars and restaurants. The outdoor area is fabulous with a great pool and very comfortable outside seating on the covered terrace. Internally the villa could do with a spruce up. The cabinet and lights in the en-suite are very water damaged. The bed was super comfy but the lumpy, limp pillows need replacing. However these little housekeeping issues would not deter us from booking again.

Well equipped, comfortable beds, good shower, relaxing outside space. Good location with supermarkets, restaurants etc all within walking distance. Good communication with owner and maintenance. Definitely a villa we will return to.

Villa is perfectly situated for ease of walking to beach, water park, shops and restaurants. Local bus service also simple to use. Villa had everything we needed for a very relaxing stay - the pool was very well used! Our host was also very helpful when we needed to check a couple of things. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Lovely Villa with everything you could want. Comfy indoor and outdoor seating, but it was all about the heated pool for us. We spent much of the day just floating around and relaxing. Lovely peaceful spot with lots of lovely restaurants near by and a big supermarket approximately 15 minutes walk away. Richard was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. A real home from home in the sun!

Plenty of room for our party of 5, great location if you dont mind a 20 minute walk to shops. Bus stop 5 minutes away with regular half hour service. Whilst we coped without aircon it would be an excellent upgrade. I would not want to be hereduring the really hit months. The property was nice but some of the furnture could do with updating like the outdoor seeting. Overall a very pleasant holiday thank you Richard in the height of summer.

First time saying in a villa and it was a fantastic experience. The pool area is excellent and the two undercover seating area’s allowed us to take a break from the sun. The WiFi was fast and reliable. TV and DVD player with a selection of films was great. A cupboard full of books was also welcomed as I didn’t bring any and read three during our stay. When we first arrived the fridge had a few drinks which was very welcomed due to us arriving after the supermarket had shut for the day. 100% recommend this villa and would definitely go again when we next go to Playa Blanca.

This comfortable villa with lovely pool and garden is in an excellent location only 11 minutes walk from Flamingo Beach and restaurants. It is also only 10 minutes walk from the well surfaced promenade that leads to a lighthouse in one direction and to the town centre of Playa Blanca + harbour in the other. Certainly worth revisiting.

We stayed at the villa with our two girls aged 9 & 11. We had everything we needed, plenty of room inside and out the pool is a decent size. Great location as it's just 10 min walk to the Flamingo Beach where there are a few bars/restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. Another 5 mins along and you reach the port which has a marina and another couple of bars/shops. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!
