Luxury Air Conditioned Villa Close to Calonge Centre - Fantastic Views

Villa was perfect, had everything we needed with a view that would never cease to amaze. Joan was so helpful and really easy to communicate with. We intend to return.

It's a very comfy place to stay with lovely views - and Joan is a good host. We had a brilliant time even though the weather could have been kinder to us

A very nice house to stay in. Nice surrondings. Nice pool. Two things were not so good. There was a building site next door that we did not know of (a house soon to be finished, so this will not be a problem soon). Joan were very understanding and we made an agreement about this. There was no door to the outside kitchen/barbeque from the kitchen inside, so you had to walk around the whole house to get there. Otherwise very, very nice!

Great villa in a fabulous location. Close enough for a stroll to the local shop for fresh baguettes. Well equipped air conditioned villa result in a perfect holiday. I would definitely stay again.

Host Joan was wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. Beautiful villa, excellent pool and lovely views. We all had a really relaxing and lovely time.

Joan the host was great. We essentially chose the wrong property, it didn’t suit us in terms of layout at all. More photos would have been useful for us to get a better steer. I do think it’s nice enough, for us the lack of linkages to the outside was a real issue. The outdoor kitchen was tucked away from everything not all practical and the lack of flow between kitchen and dining was awkward. The architect got it all wrong so not sure what the poor owners can do tbh except a major rebuild.

We've recently returned from a great holiday in the Costa Brava using Casa Benross as a great base to relax and explore the area. The villa has everything you would need for an enjoyable family holiday in a quiet, not overlooked, position fantastic views over Colonge and to the Palamos coastline. The pool area is a particular standout and we spent many hours relaxing and making great use of the pool. The villa has plenty of space, lots of storage and everything needed to be able to fully self-cater. The property is built over 4 floors which might be an issue for those with limited mobility. We made use of the outdoor kitchen but, as others have noted, there is no direct access from the kitchen to this area. The result is having to walk through the front door via three sets of stairs before climbing down or up several sets of steps outdoors. The villa benefits from air conditioning in all the bedrooms which, during the summer months, will be a must for a comfortable sleep. These worked very well but we did have two of them fail during our stay. Joan made every effort to have these repaired but getting hold of a qualified engineer proved a real challenge. We were provided with a portable unit but, unfortunately, this did little to improve the situation for the master bedroom with ensuite. So, if going in the summer months, make sure that all air con units are fully operational to ensure a comfortable stay. Finally, there are some inaccuracies in the property description. These were not an issue to us but might be important to others so note that there is no games console or table tennis tables. There are 4 bikes available, but these are all unusable due to them having flat tyres and no pump to rectify. Overall, we had a good holiday which was especially welcome after a couple of years of delays due to the dreaded covid related restrictions.

We had a great trip at this property. It was perfect for the age of our kids (4+) who really loved the pool. The views are super and it's close to the beach. Joan, the property manager was really helpful and very friendly. If at some point the house is remodelled, I would also recommend a door from the kitchen area to the outside BBQ for ease of carrying things out, but this did not in any way affect the enjoyment of our holiday. We were a group of 7 Adults (and 1 child) staying at this property. The villa was spotless on arrival and there was the added bonus of a water dispenser. The pool area was great and the upper terrace which we used most nights for a bbq gave outstanding views across Calonge and beyond. The local village was approx a mile away and very local in dialect which we loved. It was also all very very clean and quiet. A local bakers under the castle and coffee shop in the village (Girbal) we’re firm favourites which we visited most mornings. The Spar Supermarket just down the road (less than a mile) was visited daily and had everything we needed (including fresh meat from the butchery that we had on the bbq, red wine at €1.50 per litre and beer at 0.40 per can - what more can you want!?) We couldn’t fault anything about the town and the villa and we hope to visit again in the future. A big thank you to Joan and Trevor
