Villa Tranquilla - Beautiful Villa in luxe country-house ‘home from home’ style. It will be your very own private luxury home from home in Spain with all the comforts you require for a fabulous holiday. The Villa is both beautiful inside and outside with a superb 8 metre salt water/chlorine swimming pool and magnificent views overlooking the Medieval village of Calonge with its original Castle and Church, the Les Gavarres mountains which are part of the stunning Pyrenees, and the Mediterranean Sea beyond.
Individually designed the Villa is impressive with a large and thoughtfully designed outside garden. There are many seating and sunbathing areas so you can be as social or as private as you wish with family and friends and is surrounded by mature plants with flowering Bougainvillea and Oleanders, Palms, Bamboo, sweet smelling Jasmin and Pine trees and bushes. There is also a brick barbecue and dining area, tables and chairs, and a swing seat to relax on in the sunshine.

The interior of the Villa is beautiful. A fully equipped dining kitchen with modern appliances, seats 4 also with 2 rattan easy chairs and a large oak dining table in the lounge with seating for 6 in high backed leather chairs.
The lounge has an extremely comfortable full leather suite with an added large family ‘Sundowner’ room with beautifully comfortable chairs to relax in throughout the day. Arched doors and windows add to the beauty with the large double doors opening to the pool, garden and another outside dining area with a tiled roof offering shade for all your al-fresco meals.
The three large bedrooms are also all fully air-conditioned with the added luxury over other Villas of a private terrace for each bedroom. They all have double doors opening onto their own private terrace giving lovely views and filling the rooms with natural light.

You will be situated in the exclusive small development of Puig Rosell 3 minutes drive from the Calonge medieval village, 5 minutes drive to the beaches and everything the area has to offer!

The fantastic design of the Villa is such that steps are few, giving easy access around the property so therefore suiting every age group. For your comfort there is air-conditioning in every room and also a ceiling fan.

All of the three bedrooms are beautifully furnished with views to the Mediterranean, Calonge village and the Gavarres mountains. The Master Bedroom is upstairs and is large and has a super king sized bed, the second bedroom, again upstairs has a Queen sized bed and the large Ground Floor bedroom is a twin bedded bedroom. It also has a very comfortable sofa that changes to two single sleeping beds. On the same level as the master bedroom and the second bedroom there is a bathroom with full size bath, shower over the bath, bidet, toilet, extra large porcelain sink and electric towel rail. There are two louvre doors that close off the top floor if required for privacy or to keep children safe.
The ground floor bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with tropical rain shower, electric towel radiator, full white bathroom suite including full size bath, extra large porcelain sink and toilet.
The upstairs bedrooms have their own private terraces with seating and stunning views of the village, mountains and sea. The ground floor bedroom has double doors to a private terrace with a sun shade umbrella, two sunbeds and a bistro table with 3 bamboo chairs. This then leads to the garden and swimming pool. It has two closing doors to the main house giving absolute privacy to this accommodation so ideal for adults requiring private accommodation or family members.

The whole Villa has been furnished and thought through with every detail to ensure high standards and with your comfort in mind. This makes for a unique combination suiting holiday seekers wanting something special or families with children. Natural textures of solid teak, oak, real leather, farmhouse terracota tiles and bamboo combined with the colours of cream, gold and the warm tones of the Mediterranean creates a relaxing tranquil place to be.

There is secure parking for 4 cars on a 4 metre wide drive with a locking gate.

Garden furniture sprayed and cleaned.
Kitchen: All crockery, cutlery, pans and utensils, including bbq utensils, dishwasher cleaned on 65 degrees.
All laundry has been professionally washed and cleaned at maximum temperature.

Where and what :
To try and capture the feel of Villa Tranquila is difficult but 'understated luxury' and 'home from home comfort' seem to cover it. Villa Tranquila - the English equivalent is ‘tranquil house’ - is in a beautiful area with the magnificent Costa Brava on your doorstep and all that it offers. You have the magical mix of basking in a beautiful home and then choosing to be as laid back or as active as you wish. The mountains or the beach an afternoon exploring the old town of Girona or perhaps some serious shopping in Palamos or Platja d'Aro A jazz evening or a barbecue under the stars What about a day trip to Barcelona

Villa Tranquila - the exterior:
The Villa is individually designed in a Modern Farmhouse Luxury Style with the aim to satisfy all tastes and needs creating the perfect holiday retreat. The Villa is approached by a 4 metre wide drive with a secure locking gate giving ample parking. A path bordered with palms and a mature flowering rockery leads towards the stone barbecue, table and chairs and a relaxing area with a three seater swing seat. There is access to the kitchen, lounge and Sundowner room, with a child/pet proof locking gate. Further on you reach a dining area with a white wrought iron table and chairs seating 6 for meals al fresco and the 8 METRE salt/chlorine mix swimming pool. There are cushioned sun loungers, a large shaded terrace area, an outdoor pool shower and another dining area. Large and spacious sun terraces are laid to the side with plenty of further sun loungers, an umbrella and full size ping pong table.

Villa Tranquila - the interior:
The design of this Villa is unique in the fact that the spacious layout gives privacy for all the occupants. From the main entrance there is access to Bedroom 3 on the ground level with its own private bathroom and access through double doors to the garden and stunning mountain views. Also from here is a beautiful tower with a sweeping tiled stairway with a few easy steps giving access to Bedroom 1 and 2 and also Bathroom 1 on the first floor. From the main entrance, and a few steps downwards you reach the dining kitchen, the lounge (52 inch HDTV), BLUETOOTH Hi Fi and dining area and also the Sundowner room with a PC station and computer desk (free WiFi) and printer. Children must be supervised around the pool and garden at all times. The safety of the pool is the guests responsibility.

    The most beautiful villa, in gorgeous gardens in a lovely area. The villa had everything you could possibly need. Very spacious living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect layout for a family. There was such a varied choice of outdoor seating in each area of the grounds, that you can eat outside at anytime choosing sun or shade. Fabulous pool and the most stunning views out towards the sea. All correspondence has been very informative and helpful with all arrangements right from booking. The lady who looks after villa out there is so friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough, we were all very sad to leave.

    The villa is situated on the hillside giving extensive views over Calogne old town and castle then on to the sea. Inside the villa we had absolutely everything we needed for our holiday. Special mention for the information folders about the villa and local area. Extensive details on places to visit and restaurants - having spare copies of the information for guests to take with them was a great idea. We loved the design of the villa - centred around a wide spiral staircase - quirky and original. Outside is superb. There are plenty of areas to sit, with private spaces / balconies from each bedroom. The pool is large, clean and very well maintained. The layout of the gardens is beautiful - everything was in full bloom on our visit - spectacular. Special thanks to the owner (Judy) for excellent communication throughout and Samantha the local contact who was very helpful and fun. We highly recommend the villa.

    Very unfortunate that for our 2 week stay a house was being constructed next to us with pile drivers breaking rocks and JCB clearing into lorries, 8am until 5.30 pm with 30min break. We were unaware of this work planned on making our last minute booking with you.

    we enjoyed our stay a lot! the villa provides breathtaking views over Calonge to the sea and mountains nearby. the territory is not overlooked by neighbours, thus providing calm and privacy. the place is very well equipped, with any possible thing or appliance you may need while on a vacation. Sam was very nice and welcoming as well. we've spent here one of the best vacations and are looking forward to return, especially when our baby is grown up a bit :)

    We have just spent 2 weeks at the villa, it was clean and was as stated in the spec. Calonge was an easy 10 minute walk from the villa with a good Spar supermarket which has a great meat counter. Views from the villa were excellent and the villa was very private and peaceful. Great WiFi connection for all 4 in our party. Access to English TV / films via Netflix and Amazon. Both Judy and Sam were easily contactable both before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxing holiday? Car required for beach and access to larger towns/cities for shopping.
