Stayed Aug 7, 2019Villa was much larger than we had expected the main bedroom and en-suite was perfect for us. Outside it was a pleasure to swim in the day and eat outside in the evenings. There was plenty of shade in the garden for when the weather was too hot. The neighbourhood was quiet and secure.

Stayed Aug 22, 2017Six of us stayed here, 3 adults and 3 children. The villa was lovely, really well equipped and nicely furnished. The pool was big, there were garden games, a big TV and a Wii, which were great for the children. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a great dinner. There's lovely seating areas outside, some open and some covered, so on the hot days we were happy to spend all day at the house! The villa is in a nice estate, but is some 5 km from the nearest town, so you need a car to get anywhere. The nearest town is Tordesillas, a typical rural Spanish town, full of character but a bit run-down and hardly anyone speaks English! We loved it, but some people might find it a bit too off-the-beaten-track. From the villa, we did trips out to Valladolid (lovely bustling city 20km away), Segovia (beautiful, but 2 hrs drive) and the ancient market towns nearby of Medina de Campo and Cuellar. We felt we were visiting 'real' Spain rather than the tourist spots. A very relaxing week!
