Location, location, location! Without bridges and locks in the Gulf of Mexico!

Place had great location and was true to description. Only feedback was we were unable to locate toilet paper, there was a HUGE Rip in the outdoor pool next which allowed bugs to get through and there was a HUGE cockroach located in spare bedroom!

Good sized property, well equipped and fabulous location, despite the Florida rainstorms! Had good communication with the owner and managers. It’s a shame that we couldn’t have stayed there longer.

Loved our stay at the Villa Catalina Isles. Perfect sunsets and sunrises to be seen from the south turned outdoor area with great view over the canal. The patio down by the water was our favorite spot for card games or just some quiet time in the sun. We rented the Kayaks which gave the four of us (wife, husband and our 2 daughters) some real nice trips down the water. The inside was spacious, clean and practical, had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice: a dead-end road, a nearby playground and good restaurants within walking distance. The home owner was very helpful, caring and only an email away. Would love to return and would gladly recommend this home to others.

What a great experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone that has children. My kids are not big beach kids but love Florida and a swimming pool. This trip/house provided both. My kids are 18, 14 and 8 and all of them enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable, decorated nicely and house is well managed. Mango tree in the front yard (if you like Mangos). We were down here for a baseball tournament and this house was close to all of the baseball fields that we had to go to. Lots of fabulous restaurants close by as well. I agree with the reviews of Bread Pete! Gunnar was very accommodating and quick to reply. BMI who manages the property were quick to respond with anyone questions, issues or concerns. Should we be making the trip back next year, I will be looking to stay at this place again.

We traveled from Illinois with two exchange students from the Netherlands and Italy and met friends from Germany for a week in Cape Coral at Villa Catalina Isles. We have done this for the past several years. We found the house to be our most enjoyable stay out of the homes we have stayed in over the years. It was very clean, neat and orderly. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked as described. The location was just off the main street in Cape Coral so restaurants and other stores were all close at hand. We found a wonderful German bakery only three blocks away. The pool was great and the canal behind the house was the cleanest we have seen. Overall, it was a wonderful week and the people at BMI were great to work with. Thanks! Upon approval from Gunnar and Bettina we were able to bring our baby girl. Some people might say that pictures are deceiving, but Villa Catalina is as beautiful as we imagined. The home is very well maintained and very clean. Plenty of room for 3 couples or an entire family. There are plenty of lounging areas both in and outside the lanai. And privacy was never a concern. You don't need to bring a thing, just groceries. All the amenities of home are included. There are plenty of local waterfront restaurants, our favorite was Rum Runners, but there was a very nice one at the yacht club as well. The thing I was most impressed with was the property management company BMI-Homes. They responded immediately to our requests. The lawn and pool service people kept the property in top shape. Additionally, I have been in contact with the owner Gunnar through out the process of booking and returning home from our vacation. He has been very gracious and delightful to deal with on a personal and professional level. If you were to ask me or my wife if we would recommend Villa Catalina for your next vacation, my response would be 100% absolutely yes. The only thing that would have made our vacation better would be if I owned a boat. There are plenty of places to rent a boat/kayak/jet skis etc. Not to mention numerous places to go fishing. Or you can do as I did and just fish of the dock. Either way it was a sun/fun filled vacation. Thank you to Gunnar and Bettina.
