Stayed Jul 20, 2024We cast the net wide to find an alternative to baking in the heat of the Med... Ledowo House caught our attention given the sheer scale of facilities on offer and the proximity to Gdansk, which we knew had lots to see in turn. We had an amazing time - the house is really well appointed and has so many special touches that make it a true home-from-home. With two teenage boys, there was no end of distractions to keep them entertained, from the pool to the golf, the basketball hoop to the canoes and bikes. The weather was exactly what we hoped for at end July - mid 20s with lots of sun and only one day of rain, which was never a problem given all the indoor entertainment that's available. From an eating perspective we used the barbeque, were delighted to have access to the Polish version of Just Eat, and ate out several times in Gdansk, which is a short journey away. Finally, I have to commend our host, who was very responsive in answering questions before our trip and looked after us exceptionally well whilst we were there, with lots of good guidance when requested. Slaw was very discreet whilst we were there, but on hand if needed. And we loved Stella (the dog!), who made us smile every time we saw her. Ledowo House was exceptional and I have no hesitation in recommending, thank you Slaw for making our holiday so special!
