Las Olas Getaway Pool, BBQ, Mini Golf & Game Room

I expected what this house offered, but I only got about 50% of what it promised. There were 9 queen beds, 4 full bunk beds, and 1 full bunk bed, and the rest was just twin beds in the living rooms. The game room, starting with the pool table, had no working cues. The pool hadn't been maintained and the water was already a bit dirty. The dishes and appliances were dirty; you had to wash them before you could use them. There are cameras around the property, which means you have very little privacy. For the price, I expected more.

Where do I start ? First we experienced problems booking the property. The host decided to disappove my booking initially because they wanted to change the change the price. They apologized for the glitch that caused me to have to pay 450.00 more. They promised us free breakfast for the mishap ,, but we never heard from them again. Next,, we experienced ants in kitchen that nearly ruined my Birthday cake on counter. Sidewalk coming in was cracked. There was a couple of electrical outlets that were exposed/ hazard. Air vent in hallway was packed with dust residue. Guest bathroom toilet was rocking from base. Bathroom seat in mastersuite was loose, which we told host about, but he said that it was ok. We messaged the host about movie projector in game room is inoperative, he didnt respond. My fiancé had to take bleach and clenser to scrub out our shower in master bath. There was old piece of soap and wads of hair in shower. It looked as though whoever cleaned it just poured the mop water in shower !Several window verticles were cracked and broken/ missing, that definitely was a privacy issue. My daughter placed a sheet on her window. Barbecue grill was dirty when we arrived along with hammock pool furniture covered in soot from ash in air. No pool railing to get in and out of pool safely. Pool gate broken ,, someone can just walk right in. Kids from neighborhood , vagrants can just walked right in and create an emergency hazard. Pool was full of leaves,, we had to clean it.

A great place to stay I will book again

This property was clean and exactly as pictured. It’s located in a central area and was perfect for our stay. The owner is also very communicative which was appreciated. Overall I had an amazing stay and would do so again.

We needed a place for 8 and had plenty of room. The house was conveniently located close to the airport, restaurants and right around the corner from a Publix. We prefer to eat our own cooked meals and the house had all kitchen supplies to make that happen. The game room, pool, putt-putt and cornhole game was a very nice bonus! Check in easy and the house was clean.
