We used the property as a central location as our base of operations for a series of day trips throughout Bavaria. This property has a great location. Very quiet. Great rooms & amenities. A real First Class property that we will likely use again and I recommend it to others who want a high quality experiene.

We were welcomed with essential foods after our awful trip delays in England. The house was immaculate. Everything was thought of from cleaning products to bedding and dressing gowns. We really enjoyed the pool table and gym equipment. As well as a great base for exploring Bavaria, it was relaxing with games, massive TV, balconies and a game of hide and seek was great!! My son (6) said he felt at home in the holiday house. We would love to come again and Peter, the owner, was extremely helpful, kind and easy to communicate with. Thankyou so much Peter. Your excellent hosting has relaxed four stressed out people!!

Our family stayed at Peter's place while visiting from Canada. The home was so lovely. We are felt very comfortable and enjoyed the space and areas to relax. We hope to come stay again in the future. Peter was great at communicating and the house had lots of brochures for local recommendations.

Fantastic large property, with great garden and views. All the facilities you need for a great stay. Only one slight downside is that there are no supermarkets / cafe's / restaurants in Wolkersdorf itself (but these are all available within a few minutes drive).

Peter's house in Traunstein is simply fabulous. The house is large, bright and airy - much like the beautiful nearby mountains. It is extremely well furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The gym and pool room are both brilliant extra additions. The house was extremely clean and well maintained with all mod cons. The surrounding area is extraordinarily beautiful and this part of Germany is relatively quiet without lots of tourists. The castle at Lake Chiemsee is spectacular and a must see. Peter was a fabulous host - he did everything he could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you Peter, we hope to return again in the future.

This is an excellent house, in fact it is more like a residence. It is very luxury in all details. You kind of feel like living in a house for the happy few: nothing is IKEA, all is pure design. In the living room the TV is as big as a cinema screen, all of the rooms have private TV, even in the kitchen all seats are pure leather… In those three bathrooms all is about natural stone material. At our stay the weather was not ideal, but we survived just enjoying the luxury of the house: playing pool in the basement, watching television in the living room: we had a great time! I do not want to forget our host, the house owner, Mister Peter Gassner, who was very friendly from the start, and even advised us some good local restaurant. In Bayeren the weather will always be unpredictable, but if you are in a group, and are looking for a real fine house, this is a place to be…

We stayed at this house for 5 nights during our trip to Germany and used it as a base to travel to Munich, Salzburg, and the rest of the Berchtestgaden area. The house is located in a quite town called Traunstein, which we actually really enjoyed because it was away from the tourists, but still had great restaurants and shops in the downtown area and was only about a 30 minute drive from everything that we wanted to do each day. The house has obviously been completely renovated recently and everything is very modern, clean, and comfortable. The owner of the home was excellent to deal with and very accommodating. Our kids really enjoyed playing in the big back yard area with nice grass. I would recommend this house to anyone that has a car and wants more space (indoors and out) versus the hotels and houses closer to the tourist attractions.
