Set on a generous three-quarter-acre lot along the western shore of Lake Norman, Sip, Sip, Away is built for the kind of trip you'll be retelling for years — fourteen guests, five bedrooms, a loft, and an outdoor setup that gives every age group something to do.

Outdoor Oasis:
The 24'x48' saltwater pool is the centerpiece, and the new water slide turns it into something closer to a backyard waterpark. The pool isn't heated, but it shines from late spring through early fall. Afew steps away, the fire pit becomes the evening anchor — pull up a chair, roast a few marshmallows, and trade stories from the day. The fenced yard gives kids and pets room to roam, and just beyond it, a paver path leads down to the private dock. A kayak, paddleboard, and additional lake gear are stocked and ready for whoever wants to push off first.

Open, Easy, Stocked:
Inside, high ceilings and oversized sliders pull the outdoors in. The living room is set up for the whole crew with a deep sectional, two swivel chairs, and a TV big enough for game day. The kitchen runs on a full lineup — double oven, full-size fridge, dishwasher — and the island seats three for cocktail hour while someone takes on dinner. An eight-top dining table sits just off the kitchen with lake views as the backdrop. Past guests have called the kitchen the gathering spot — and it tends to live up to that.

Where Everyone Sleeps:
Four bedrooms on the main level keep the layout flat and friendly. The primary suite features a king bed, an ensuite bath, and sliders that open to a covered deck and sunroom. A bunk room with two twin-over-twin sets handles four kids without breaking a sweat. Two queen bedrooms — one of them wrapped in windows — round out the main level, with a newly added queen-bed bedroom and ensuite walk-in shower offering extra elbow room. Upstairs, the loft adds a quiet escape with a queen sleeper sofa and TV.

All-Season Room & Game Room:
Just off the back deck, the all-season room is wired for downtime: a high-top bar table, a large TV, and easy flow to the covered porch. Lake Norman State Park, with its hiking trails and swim beach, sits roughly twenty minutes north, and uptown Charlotte — restaurants, breweries, Bank of America Stadium, and the Spectrum Center — is about forty minutes south. Wine country fans can detour to nearby DuGaren Vineyards for a tasting, or push out to Childress Vineyards for a longer afternoon. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
