Lake Norman Lakefront Vacation Home 5BR 3.5ba Denver, NC

This property was everything it was marketed to be and much more. We were a family of eight with three adult couples and two teenage boys, and there was plenty of room for us and some. We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of kitchen utensils and cookware. Especially for a long Easter weekend with family that loves to cook. We loved all the outside amenities, including the oversized dock and fire pit. Everything was put to use we lit two fires outside and a fire inside with the fireplace. We casted and caught fish off of the dock. We also rented a pontoon boat from a local business and docked at the private dock on the property before taking family out on the lake. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a peaceful, happy and plentiful lakefront rental.

We came down from Boston for a family wedding and found ourselves wondering if we had to go back. This place was the perfect lakeside retreat—peaceful, beautiful, and just the right amount of Southern charm to make six adults forget they’re usually stuck in traffic on the Mass Pike.The house is bright and airy with a wide-open living and dining area that made it easy to hang out without tripping over each other. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, the beds were wicked comfy, and the lake views? Chef’s kiss.We spent a good chunk of time on the deck and dock—coffee in the morning, drinks in the evening, and a whole lot of pretending we live there full-time. The furniture was so comfy it almost convinced us to start a group Zillow search.The host was quick to respond anytime we had a question, and the neighbors were so quiet we weren't sure anyone else was around.Would absolutely come back. Next time we might just “accidentally” miss our flight home.

Labor Day at the Lake. Last year and this year, we picked Lake Norman for our family to get together over the long weekend. We loved this house because of the size, it accommodated our large family, 3 sets of parents and 3 kids, age 8,7 and 4. We also loved the flat lot leading down to the lake! It was perfect for the kids to play before and after boating. We even used the firepit one night just so we could make S'mores. Kimberly was so easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. Next time we come back to Lake Norman, we will definitely rent this house again. :-)

What an awesome spot to spend a few days! Extremely clean, plenty of sleeping arrangements for people and unbeatable lake views! Private beach area and dock made for great times all day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a gateway 👍

We enjoyed our time at Lake Norman and had plenty of space for our family. Dock and beach provided plenty of area for children to swim and enjoy the lake. Tropical storm Debby kept us indoors most of Thursday but with all the space inside we didn’t feel on top of each other. Issue with dishwasher was addressed quickly and owner was very responsive.

The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and a cozy family home atmosphere. The property was well kept, the beach was perfect for our 4 year old and 2 year old grandchildren. The porch was awesome, the yard was great for games and the lake was clear and warm. The owners were kind and courteous and responded quickly to our questions. We plan on returning in the future!

This was a fantastic rental for our family all in town for a wedding. It accommodated all of us whether we wanted to sit inside and play games, sit outside on the deck, or gather on the rooftop deck on the dock. It was so fun after the business of the wedding to relax here. Everyone who stayed wants to make it an annual event and we would 100% rent this house again.

This home was perfect for our birthday/Mother’s Day celebration. Can’t say enough good things about the home and view. We enjoyed every second of our stay and the owners were very responsive and kind. I would love to return again and again.. we didn't want to leave! Lol
