La Luxuria Executive Villa -**** HIGHEST RATED AND BEST DEAL IN THE AREA!! ****

Fantastic place. Easy check in, clean, great pool. Monkeys. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Amazing property- large, clean and brilliant view of the ocean as well as the jungle including many creatures. Excellent communication from owner, top notch housekeeping and very helpful concierge.

This home sits high up on the mountain…. You have to drive up a steep dirt road to get there, so be prepared. From the yard, you can look over the ledge and see lots of wild jungle, some rooftops, and then beautiful blue ocean all the way to the horizon. You can check the waves from here too. The infinity pool makes you feel like you could just fall off the ledge and into the jungle below….But that’s actually not true- the pool and house and entire property are very safe and clean. We stayed with four WILD kids, ages 10-12, and no one got hurt or lost or bitten. Though we had a few close encounters with dangerous creatures: a snake, a scorpion, and one huge, hairy spider. But that was only because we left the sliding glass door open for a few hours one night, when we left for dinner. Like others have said, the photos and description don’t do this place justice. Also, it’s located right above the main drag of Santa Teresa, near Del Soul surf shop and a bunch of restaurants and clothing stores. Playa Hermosa is 15 min away on an ATV. AMAZING!!

This was the third year in a row our group has spent a month in Costa Rica. Each year we have rented a home in a different area of the country. This house was our favorite. Lori, the property manager lived down the hill was always available, responding within minutes to any questions or issues which arose. For example, the espresso machine was replaced immediately when discovered it was not working. Our group loves cooking. This kitchen was well stocked, various choices of coffee makers, sharp knives, multiple sets of dishes and a water filtration system. The infinity pool was kept crystal clean, the water warm and the view exceptional. We ate all our meals outdoors on the shaded patio, reserving the indoor dining table for office space. The Wi-Fi worked well, even with 3 or 4 Zoom calls. The house sits at the top of a steep hill. We decided not to rent a car or ATV, as we preferred the daily exercise of walking down and up from town and the extraordinary beach. (If you have mobility issues transportation will be required.). We hired cabs for larger or heavier grocery runs. If you love wildlife, this is the house for you, pizotes, monkeys and a wide variety of birds & butterflies frequent the property. We highly recommend this property for families or 2-3 couples.

This was an amazing property and vacation all around. The balance between going into town and just relaxing at the top of Santa Teresa was perfect. The pool was phenomenal-so were the accommodations as a whole (bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious-kitchen was very well stocked). We’ve been to ST 5 times now and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed.

The place is beautiful and the pictures don’t lie. That said there are a couple warnings. First, the property is located up a STEEP hillside. You will need a AWD or ATV to get up and down. Second, it’s in the jungle, there will be lizards, bugs and ants.That said, the property manager was awesome and recommended numerous excursions and restaurants — all of which were awesome.

The place far exceeded expectations. The pictures are good, but the property is better. We arrived to howler and white face monkeys in the yard. There were butterflies everywhere. The pool overlooks the pacific where we watched the whales breaching on several days (bring good binoculars). The house has very well equipped kitchen and the beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms were great. Laura is an exception host and offered any assistance we needed. Our only complaint is the house was so good, we rarely left to experience Santa Teresa....I guess we will just have to come back.

My family and I had a wonderful time at La Luxuria. The house is beautiful and stocked with all the things you need. The cleaning and grounds personnel are great and Laurie, the concierge, was very helpful with information about local businesses and setting up excursions. Both my wife and mother-in-law have mobility problems and were not able to go on any excursions, but the house is so awesome and well-appointed that they were thrilled just to relax there during the days. The house also serves as a great, secluded home base from which to go on adventures. My kids and I went to the beach several times, hit all the local restaurants, went horse-back riding on the beach and zip-lining through the jungle. Best vacation ever!

Everything about our experience was amazing! We loved the house and the services provided! The view is absolutely beautiful! The house is exceptionally clean! The communication and check in process was great. The house was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Wonderful vacation!
