Stayed Jan 27, 2025We really enjoyed the breathtaking views from the pool deck. Sunrise is amazing. The home is fully equipped with everything you need. We spent 6 days here and will go back if we have the opportunity to travel to Thailand again. It’s a little off the beaten path so it is peaceful and nice to get away from the touristy areas. The beach is very close with a great little cafe that serves lunch and dinner and cocktails on the beach.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024This is better than the photographs. Set in the countryside a few miles outside the bustling Lamai Villa Philippa is located (one of 4) on a hillside enabling us to enjoy lovely warm breezes every day. The pool is larger than those in most villas and looks out over the verdant countryside and the coast beyond. The patio is a comfortable place to sunbathe, sit and eat under the awning. The interior is dominated by a large open-plan kitchen dining and tv area with 3 large double bedrooms off at the sides all with their own bathroom and air conditioning. The master also has a large freestanding bath front and centre. There is also a small cloakroom area with abundant storage throughout. The villa’s owner Pranam organised car hire for us and this worked really well. It would be difficult here without transport. Pranam was a joy to deal with. She was always quick to respond to messages and questions and generously gave time to physically show us the route to the supermarket and point out the best massage centre. We enjoyed a good Thai meal cooked at the villa by two local women which was fresh and delicious and so plentiful that it fed us for days. We have stayed at many villas over the years but this was definitely one of the nicest and we hope to return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful villa, great location, close to some amazing eateries in Thong Krut and a little further on in I-Talay. Having the car was such a help! Eddie and Pranom are lovely people and we look forward to returning.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We wanted a place to relax and be away from the maddening pace of city life! We were awesomely pleased and surprised with both our host and their home! All arrangements from the moment we arrive till we leave was immaculate...the pick up was comfortable and on time, a car was made available for our use and both our host Pranam & Smalley with their lovely daughter Philippa was at the home to welcome us. Extremely lovely and friendly and immediately made us feel at home! They were very quick to assist when we asked for help! As for the place....SUPERB! We were all extremely pleased with the place. The view is amazing especially when it's nicely nestled up in the hills overseeing the bay and the rising sun. You awaken with the chirping of different bird species in the morning. We saw squirrels, butterflies and Eagles ... With the car, it's just minutes away from some convenient stores so no problem at all. In fact Smalley suggested that we get all that we need from Makro which is just 10 minutes drive! We felt that 4days zipped by too fast and we hope to be back again in this lovely treasure getaway! Stayed Dec 31, 1969The place was absolutely lovely at the hill with nice greenery. The pool is just perfect directly looking over to the sea. Early morning and evening swim is the perfect time for the swim in the pool. Pranom has been an excellent host. She prepared everything for us. Though we had a day with electricity outage she was there following up on it all the time. Her response was very quick and immediate. Thanks for the excellent stay. The children loved it.
