The city of Deruta, famous all over the word for handcrafted ceramics, is just 15 km away as well as the nearby village of Montecastello which also has aspects of considerable historic interest, starting with the nineteenth-century theatre which is held to be the smallest in the world. Villa Francescana, with its two covered porches and its wood oven, takes guests back in time and it is the right place for those who want to enjoy nature and the pleasures of life. The house is characterized by a very well-kept garden and a beautiful swimming pool with inifinity edge (7x13, 1,4-1,8 m deep)(18/05-30/09), countercurrent swimming system, outdoor shower, built in barbecue, from where you can enjoy a particularly beautiful and extensive view of the valley. Guest can also have dinner on a beautiful covered terrace near the swimming pool, where they can admire the sunset on the surrounding hills. On request and upon payment, guests can enjoy a wellness area (closed in July and August), located within the property and to be shared with the other two villas but at exclusive use on rotation (2-3 people at the time, only adults over 18), featuring a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a Turkish bath and relax/massages area.
