HOUSE WITH LARGE GARDEN IN THE HISTORIC CENTER OF AMALFI

A most wonderful stay in AmalfiRoberto greeted us at yhe piazza,took us to our parking and helped us up with our bags. The villa was exceptional. Very modern and comfortable at the quieter top portion of Amalfi

Our host Roberto was absolutely wonderful and full of great information. Although he doesn’t speak English fluently, he’s a master of his translation app, which made communication completely seamless. The flat was exactly as described, beautifully crafted, spotless, and perfectly located just a 5-minute walk from the vibrant Amalfi dining and shopping scene. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roberto’s place or stay with him again. Grazie di cuore per un soggiorno davvero indimenticabile!

The host was very communicative and even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the ferry port. This was a very nice extra benefit.

Roberto is an amazing host. Full of knowledge in the area and helpful hints. The accommodations are clean and comfortable with breathtaking views. We will stay here again on out next trip!

Roberto, the owner was quick to respond to questions we had. Property was located close to shops and center of town. Roberto is super friendly and very helpful. The property was excellent! Definitely would return again to this 5 star lodging should I return again to the area.

This was a lovely place to stay, far enough from the crowded tourist area but with easy access to both the shopping and ferry, and to paths leading up through the lemon groves and the woods with the gorgeous waterfalls amid ruins of the old mills. The house was very clean with beautiful tile, and perfect for 2 couples. We're all in our 70's and found the steps (53?) to be perfectly manageable. The hosts were wonderful! Roberto helped with our luggage from the ferry, they were friendly and easy to contact. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful modern apartment on the top floor of an older home. It was well laid out and spacious with a large outdoor patio area for our use. The location was perfect - close to all the attractions of Amalfi, but also quiet as it was just outside the busy areas. Our host, Roberto was excellent and went the extra step of picking us up at the ferry and taking us up the hill to the apartment for the check in. Everything went smoothly and we would stay here again if our travels ever take us to Amalfi for another vacation.

Great location and very comfortable place to stay in Amalfi. A little bit remote from the loud central square (which is good). But very close to all the activities. Wonderful and super helpful and responsive host. Excellent (very firm) bed, which is rare. Photos are true, no surprises. Definitely recommended.

Thought it was fantastic super clean had everything we needed. So beautiful and Roberto was beyond helpful with getting our luggage in and out. The location was perfect enjoyed all the shops and restaurants but then was able to go back to Villa and have quiet time. I thought the location was perfect for catching the ferry to explore the other islands. We loved it.

The place has been built with love, thinking of every single detail. The view to the mountains is amazing. Roberto is the best host one can have.

We had a great time at Roberto’s place and enjoyed learning so much about the area from him. Picking lemons from the trees and strolling down to the beach and restraunts were a delight. My Italian is lacking, but google translate allowed us to have many conversations. We will be back the first chance we get.

The host was very accommodating with our check in and had her friendly husband fill in. The next day he gifted us with piles of lemons and plums from their trees

Best of all it was quiet and peaceful and away from the crowds.

The host, Roberto, was perhaps the kindest and most gracious host I’ve had for a vacation rental. He picked us up at the port and offered us lemons from his garden. He doesn’t speak English, but is a master of Google Translate and it doesn’t stand in the way of excellent conversation. The apartment is tucked away up a hill, which is further from the crowds of tourists further down, but an easy walk to the harbor and bus stop. The views from the garden are incredible! I wish we had stayed one extra day to do a hike towards Ravello. Don’t hesitate to book this property; you’ll love it!

This property is absolutely perfect and Roberto was such a gracious host! Because the side roads are closed to thru traffic he even picked us up and dropped us off at the main square. The view was so beautiful from the house! Would have loved to stay longer if we could have.

Roberto was amazing with every detail. He provided transportation to apartment and the train station. The apartment was newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Outdoor space and views fantastic. He provided lemons from his trees and water for free. The Amalfi experience is highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment with the most wonderful host. Roberto was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. He gave us great tips on hikes in the area and its history. We loved our stay and hope to visit again.

Ricardo was an excellent host. His VRBO is absolutely beautiful and the location in Amalfi was very accessible. We could not have enjoyed ourself more in this inviting home.

This was hands down one of the coziest, beautiful, well-maintained houses we have stayed in. Even the most minute detail (toothbrush holders for eg) was well thought out. The beds and couch were comfortable, the AC/heater brand new and the whole house and surroundings were spick and span. The best part however was the host. Roberto was warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the place and its history, and super helpful. Both the house and the host made us wish we could stay longer!

Roberto was a great host, met us at the ferry dock and dropped us there at the end of the week. His place is right near the Paper Museum and the start of the Valle Della Ferriere nature walk, and about 7-8 minutes to the main square and cathedral. We were able to take side trips to hike the path of the Gods and visit Positano and Vietre sul Mare. His place was very comfortable and well equipped and a great value.

We loved our stay at Roberto’s place. Roberto was great to deal with (doesn’t speak English but is a master at Google Translate). Roberto was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a very nice patio area with seating. The location is great but be prepared for some steps to get the room. Robero arranged parking for us next door. This was our second visit to Amalfi and we would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough how wonderful the apartment was and Roberto! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Roberto’s guidance and overall generosity was incredible. I cannot wait for my next stay and HIGHLY recommend Roberto’s grand apartment in Amalfi.

Great place and great location. It was close to everything and yet very quiet. The host is great and even picked us up when we got into town on the bus and gave us a ride to the ferry. Very comfortable place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable and air conditioner cold. It was very conveniently located. We were able to walk to and from restaurants without any difficulty. Roberto was a wonderful host and met us at the entrance to town and drove us to our accommodations and even helped carry our luggage. We were able to check in early. He also did the same when we were leaving. Everything was very clean and the sheets smelled so fresh. We loved our stay and will recommend to our friends.

I have rarely felt that a property was many times better in real life than in their ad, but this one most certainly is! The cleanliness was incredible and the amenities were exactly what was needed for our two couples. Roberto graciously fought his way through pedestrian traffic twice in order to bring both us and our friends to the property as we came on separate ferries. He is a lovely person with a sunny personality and we enjoyed our short time together. We really enjoyed being in Amalfi in the early morning and late afternoons but it is seriously overcrowded during the day. Having said that, the Casa is out of the way enough to feel quite serene no matter what. We loved it.

From the very first interaction with Roberto, we knew that staying at Casa Chiarito for our two-week getaway was going to be the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. Roberto's willingness to help in any way he could to make our trip the most memorable, went above and beyond our wildest expectations. His communication while there and before our trip was very prompt and his knowledge of the history of his area was impressive. The location of the house was perfect. It was just a 10-minute walk from the center of adorable Amalfi. It was very cozy, quiet and extremely picturesque, tucked into the fabulous mountainside. The house was very clean and perfect for all our needs. We even had our own bathrooms! We fell in love with Amalfi and would not hesitate to stay at Casa Chiarito again and again. We miss Roberto already and feel we have made a lifelong friend. Thank you so much for being such a large part of our incredible vacation! Grazie!

Amazing spot in a wildly busy place. Roberto was one of the best people we met in Italy, welcoming, funny and extremely accommodating. Communicated quickly and easily, recommended places and took the time to show us exactly where to go. They have a beautiful garden and took my kids to pick lemons and explained some of the traditional harvesting methods in Italy. Truly amazing people.
