Holidays for the soul (private heated pool)

This property is beyond words. Gospoda Tanja and her husband created the perfect oasis. We had two families (4 adults, 6 children) and we were all more than comfortable.From the lavender and rosemary bushes, to the olive trees and quiet serene backyard with a view overlooking both the mountains and the beautiful Adriatic, this villa was a dream. We were welcomed with a platter of local prosciutto and sheep cheese and we were given a quick tour of the local town and nearby hot spots to visit.All in all - an excellent villa. We loved our stay at the villa. It was the perfect size for two families, lots of space inside and out, with an amazing pool and hot tub. The villa was incredibly well equipped, there was nothing we needed. It is situated in a little village where everything is a walk away, great supermarket, deli, bar, pharmacy, butcher and delicious pizzeria. We would definitely recommend this villa. it was a joy to stay there and we will be returning. The only challenging part of our holiday were the car ferries to and from Brac. The queues are very long. I advise anyone who is travelling in peak season to leave plenty of time and go as early as possible.

We had a very lovely stay at the Villa for 10 days. Tanya and her husband were perfect hosts that were caring, friendly and very relaxed. The Villa was beautiful with a marvellous view, even to the sea. The rooms were clean and nice and we had enough space for our group of 12 adults and one little child. We had a good time also at the pool and whirlpool. Unfortunately the last mentioned could not be heated, however the weather was very warm most of the time so there was no need for heated water in the whirlpool. We warmly recommend staying at the villa! Best greetings

This is a stunning property - beautifully maintained by Tanja and her husband. We were a party of 14 and just home from a wonderful holiday with our three children with their families. The seven grandchildren varied in age from 4 to 9 and they loved the pool area and hot tub which were cleaned every morning at 6am although we never heard a thing! The villa has an amazing view from the top floor to the sea at Sumartin with a table that holds many happy memories for us of BBQ nights and chatting. There are 3 supermarkets close by and Surmartin has some wonderful swimming areas in the beautiful adriatic sea - best swimming we have ever done anywhere in the world - the sea is crystal clear. We cannot thank Tanja enough - she is an amazing hostess and helped us book restaurants and a full day boat trip which I would really recommend. In summary a perfect place for a family holiday. The villa is clean and very well equipped - plenty of safe parking. Selca and the area surrounding is unspoilt with many lovely small waterfront restuarants. Can't wait to return one day.

Just home from a wonderful 1 week say here. The villa is beautiful and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The outside area, pool and spa bath are fantastic with shade and sun as desired. The view is simply breathtaking! The ever changing colour of the mountains and the boats coming and going in the sea are a joy to take in over a morning coffee or an evening wine. Selca is very small, very beautiful and very quiet. The supermarkets are few mins walk away. There is a great pizza restaurant next to a lovely play park and bar available by the church. It was exactly what we wanted. The people are lovely and Tanja was so welcoming and helpful. She put us in touch with Zeljko from the local taxi service who were outstanding! Both transfers were seamless and they were available whenever we wanted to see the sights of the wonderful island of Brac. Sumartin is gorgeous with a few restaurants, supermarket, ferry to the mainland and boat, jet ski, buggy, SUP hire. Its quite a walk and no pavement so we used the taxi service mainly but the walk there and back is great exercise! There is a path over the hill so you don’t have to walk on the road for the most part which offers great views. Smaller groups may benefit from car hire but we felt the prices of the taxi’s were good value so used them to visit Sumartin, Bol, Povlja. All stunning! The cocktail bar in the bay opposite Sumartin is fantastic! Thank you so much, we loved our holiday, it was perfect!

The villa is beautiful, including the garden/pool area. It offers great views of the mountains and the sea. Location is close to the supermarket in Selca and just 25 minute walk (or short taxi ride) down the hill to Surmartin, a small fishing village. Tanja, the host, was excellent when communicating before arrival, helping to arrange a boat for us as we had a late arrival. She met us at the villa late at night (due to plane delays) and came back the next day to welcome us again and talk us through areas we might like to visit on Brac. We were a group of 10 with an age range of 2 to 70 years old and everyone loved it. The dining table outside offers spectacular views. (Just pack bug spray for the evenings). Very recommended.

Overall, our experience at this property has been amazing. The house is located in a small town with a supermarket and a pharmacy. Not only, it is also 10 minutes from Brac's beautiful beaches. The view from the villa was astonishing and the pool was beautifully kept. The host was welcoming and available at all times.

A group of family and friends stayed at this villa for a week. The villa owners ( Tanja and her husband) were very warm and such great hosts. Communication with Tanja was excellent from the booking process to us leaving . Useful information was provided regarding places to eat, things to do and see. Tanja even arranged transport for us and was always on hand for advice. The villa has two floors. The top floor has 3 bedrooms and a lovely terrace were we all sat to enjoy meals and drinks most nights. The mountain views from the top terrace are amazing . The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and a terrace overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Both floors have an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge. The villa was well equipped, Very clean and comfortable. The pool was always clean, plenty of towels provided. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the local shops , bars and restaurants. Tanja helped us hire a boat to explore Hvar, also helped with local taxi services and car hire. All the family from the little baby to adults, all enjoyed our stay at the villa . Great memories.

Beautiful, clean and well kept villa. Tanja was an excellent host. Amazing stone work and attention to detail throughout. Spectacular views and close to a small town which had several shops. Its perfect for a relaxing get away.
